Enemy is considered resummoned on return

When you gain control of an enemy and it returns, it is as though it "enters the battlefield" for the enemy.
This makes Willbreaker almost unusable against stronger enemies (especially in the event). A creature deals damage on being summoned? Guess what, it does it every time it returns after being stolen by willbreaker. A creature summons a bunch of elderazi on being summoned? Same thing when you steal it and it goes back. A creature gives permanent abilities to its allies or negs your monsters? Same thing when it is returned.
Of course, it doesn't treat it as though it was summoned when you steal it, so only your enemy benefits.
Alternatively, when you have three characters already and you steal someone, then turn it into a frog, the game treats that as summoning a fourth creature on your side and the frog summon can be dispelled, leaving no creature to return.
I had to pull all of my turn traitor/willbreaker type spells from my blue and red decks because the enemy got way more value.
Same thing with a mirrorpool. Oh yeah, that enemy you just borrowed for one turn? Your foe gets it back at double strength because mirrorpool activates as though it was summoned.
PLEASE fix this ASAP!

I don't know if this is a bug or its done intentionaly.
But there is a big differance between the red steal cards and willbreaker and that is that you can chose the creature you want with the red cards. Jus pick the card with no summonig abilty or the berserker.
That doesn't count for willbreaker. This was one of my favorite critters but since you cant chose the creature and just picks the first one. this makes willbreaker officially the worst card you can play nowadays and indeed this should be fixed ASAP0 -

If intentional, it should give the bonus to you when you steal the creature. So, I'm 75% certain this is a bug, or at least something in need of a fix.
As you said, Willbreaker used to be decent, especially with a bunch of cheap spells in the blue deck (like Talent of the Telepath, which can draw and cast another Talent of the Telepath, which causes Willbreaker to steal two creatures).
My blue deck was based on Sphinx's Tutelage to slow the AI spells down combined with drawing cards using Sigiled Starfish, Jori En, Ruin Diver, and Deepfathom Skulker. I've kept that part, but now I'm using Dreadwaters, and Bring to Light (combined with ToT to choose what Bring to Light draws) and a bunch of high casting cost creatures instead of my old Willbreaker/Ringwarden Owl + spam spells combo.
Now I've had to switch that out for
