They're still beatable with the "-5" or "-6" spells in Black deck (Demon's Grasp and Languish), as long as you get a good draw in the beginning before they start buffing.

And if you make a Red deck with Chasm Guide (initiates Haste on incoming allied cards) and chump attacks to wittle away its HP before it gets going, you're in good shape. Ghirapur Aether Grid is its kryponite also.

Except Demon's Grasp is a targeted ability, so if UC has hexproof that's a no go situation.

If I recall correctly they don't, only Crush of Tentacles will work.

Global spells such as Displacement Wave and Great Aurora *should* work on hex-proof targets since global doesn't actually target them directly. However, I think Prevent Damage would be able to stop globals since destroy effects don't work against Prevent Damage due to game coding...

Lol I'll have to cut a mythic from chandra's deck since avaricious dragon will be the main issue to answering it with chandra's -9 and then ramming 3 critters into it.might try the blue red merfolk.

Well, I have good news, and I have bad news!

The good news is, your Kiora matches will now only take 15 seconds to play.

The bad news is, you won't be the one winning them.

Displacement Wave Will work on Hex proof creatures. It's been a big key in getting though the events for me.

Crush of Tentacles is even more devastating to a combo like this. Wipe the board and leave yourself with a 16/16 trample, reach creature.

If they make this fricking card Hexproof, I'll all but give up the game. Isn't this card a pain in the **** without Hexproof? With the right card or two aiding it, it can be unstoppable. Making it Hexproof just means you need to have resilient creatures in enough quantity to take it down.

Trample is going to become even more vital than ever before if Kiora decks run by the AI are smart enough to put these two out in tandem with each other.

All hail Koth, the light in the darkness, our valorous champion, come to save us from the tyranny of green/blue control decks.

It's just occured to me today how good Mirrorpool+Undergrowth Champion is... it's more likely to be played by players in QB, the AI will probably use it properly, and you can kiss your hopes of killing that UC with Languish goodbye...

Its combos like this that I run Crush of Tentacles for... 21 mana to counter all of those is mana well spent.

The beauty of those three cards together is crazy. There's like two maybe three cards in the whole game that can remove that threat. If there is ever a PvP tourney things like this and white disable decks will be blowing everyone out.

I just wish I *HAD* those cards.
Oh, and Crush of Tentacles too....

I wish I had disposable income to spend to load my deck up with these fine cards...and to run something as epic as Kiora, but I'd rather spend 950 crystals on expanding my card arsenal than getting a PW.

Buy Kiora. She's totally worth it.

Overtime you will pick up rare and mythic cards just from opening free packs and doing well in QB. You will never get an upgrade to Planeswalker utility unless you buy it with crystals.

I've not spent a lot of money on this game. I bought the starter pack a while ago and 600 crystals for a Big Box when they released Oath of the Gatewatch, because it was really worth it.
Other than that, playing since December and almost not missing a day for the daily rewards since they implemented it. Finishing QB at least in 150 with a few times I've been lower. Undergrowth Champion is from a Fat Pack at the 21st day a couple months ago, Sphinx of the Final Word is from the event this week, Greenwarden of Murasa is from the Big Box I bought and Mirrorpool is from the pack from beating Chapter 1 in the event.
I collected the crystals for Kiora from finishing QB in top 150 and up, from daily rewards, the first event and some story missions (I have still not completed all of them).
950 crystals is more worth it for Kiora than it is for packs, in my opinion. From a big box for 600 you'll get 1 mythic and 3-4 rares, or if you get lucky, maybe a bit more, but the amount of duplicates and useless cards will be huge. While Kiora allows you to combine the cards from two colors and gives you new deck building opportunities that will make the game more fun. At least it does for me.
