7 day PvE event with icon_spiderman.png and icon_nickfury.png covers as placement rewards... can't imagine this one will be very popular. And personally I hate having to use Rags...

I'm not drawing up a plan with the number of points I'll need to get every day to get to 86k, but I think it should be very feasible with 4 suboptimal clears in the first 3 or 4 days, and maybe 5 clears in the rest of the event. (EDIT: after a few subs it became clear that 4 suboptimal full clears a day are more than enough for max progression).

EDIT: sub 1 results: 10587 points, 4 suboptimal clears (3 essentials)
EDIT: sub 2 results: 12536 points, 4 suboptimal clears (3 essentials). Total 23123
EDIT: sub 3 results: 13737 points, 4 suboptimal clears (3 essentials). Total 36860
EDIT: sub 4 results: 15174 points, 4 suboptimal clears (3 essentials). Total 52034
EDIT: sub 5 results: 14598 points, 4 suboptimal clears (3 essentials). Total 66632
EDIT: sub 6 results: 10456 points, 2 clears (full points, 3 essentials). Total 77088
    EDIT: sub 7 results: 9308 points, 1 clear (3 essentials) + 4 nodes. Total 86396. Mission accomplished!

A little quote from a past event:

Just completed first clear on the last day, Thunderbolts Mountain, and got 7460 points. Six of the nodes are not repeatable but still there are plenty of points to get on the last day. Sitting at 83K overall so will get the Legend token after the next clear.

Keep calm and grind for CP.

Boosted Rulk fortunately means most nodes should be a breeze. Last time this ran he had IMHB and Nova to keep him Company, but I guess Kingpin works pretty well too.

Rewards are meh for this 7-days event icon_eek.gif

Any event with Bullseye (Classic) boosted is a fun event IMO. Contract Killer is one of the better "shift the game in your direction" things to have.

I can see myself trying out a C-Bullseye/Kingpin/StarLord combination for the lulz.

Meh? You're much more charitable than I.
  • Well, here's another insta-skip event. A 7 day slog for bad covers, come on man...

I'll be PvP focused this week.

Yeah, I think I'll join this one late. I've found you can skip the first 1-2 days of 7-day events and still comfortably hit max progression with all the points available in later subs. I need a small break after that awful H Jugg event.

I suspect my curve for this event will go something like: join midway on day 2, pick up 6k, then go 12/14/16/18/20 for an even 86k and max prog.

This non popular event must be the answer to a question I was about to pose... I hate it when freak things happen in this game...

I don't have Ares so missing an essential node... And I don't think I cleared day 1's nodes once... Definitely didn't do more than 1 ...

Just completed 2nd clear day 2 and I'm sitting overall at number 10... ****?? Looked at the rosters of my fellow top 10ers -
1st place highest cover... Level 75
2nd place highest cover... Level 128 etc etc
What bracket did I fall into?!?! Very strange....
Bonus is about to get the Ares cover so will be able do do all essentials

I'm in a slice where places 8-50+ have the exact same score, so totally opposite of you unfortunately.

What a bore this event is. Any old 7-day event being rerun for the umpteenth time should at least give double ISO to keep us interested.

I actually lost the Ares essential in one of the previous subs. The one against 2* Magneto. Think I took Blade and .. forget now. The board was freaking stubborn, wouldn't pony up anything good for me, a couple of goon CDs resolved, and then Magneto hit Magnetic Flux. Blammo. Two down, only Ares left, facing a significant health & AP shortage. I retreated. I hate having to spend health packs on essential nodes.

I am bored so I am taking Ragnarok out for a spin.

Not bad synergy with Jean Grey or Red Hulk. His only purpose is to give you green charged tiles. Hood is the go to third member. The main bad thing about this setup is why you wouldn't run someone like IM40 or 3* Cap instead.

I quite like Ragnarok paired with Kamala Khan. His cheap red keeps her healing a lot, and she can help get those charged green tiles more easily.

While I'm not *that* bored, yet, I have been screwing around on the trivials even more than normal. This time around it's a Lv 145 (boosted) Peggy (1/0/0), Lv 132 Cap Falcon (1/4/3) and Lv 102 2* Steve (3/5/5). They're pretty hapless on red/blue starved boards, but if those three are going to bring matching shields and outfits to battle, I might as well take them off the bench from time to time...
