Increase runes gain in QB Plz

I think runes you get from Quick battle needs a modest increase from 300 up to 500. It is quite painful and time consuming to grind that many runes to level up a PW. There is no point in making it that difficult since cards are the money making items and PWs are just proxies to use them.
It took me more than 150k runes to level up ajani.
And people that pay real currency should not have to hit QB for rune grind. Them deals in packs should be boosted with much more runes than that

Huh? Sounds like you want things too quickly, young grasshopper icon_e_smile.gif QB is the most efficient source of runes there is. Story missions grant 100-200 runes per win; QB's 300 means you can easily rack up 3000 in an hour of playing. Levelling up a planeswalker, especially the final few levels, is meant to be an aspirational thing, something you gradually work towards. Especially if you've got multiple walkers.

Just chill, enjoy the gradual journey, enjoy unlocking the new levels of your abilities one at a time.

(Admittedly this is harder in cases like Ajani where the new levels of his ability are just getting it back to how it used to be pre-nerf. But still.)

Alex, that's not exactly true. Some battles in the story are actually more efficient for runes than quick battles are. However - it's only more efficient THE FIRST TIME YOU BEAT A BATTLE in story mode. Afterwards, you want to grind out QBs.

I don't think the answer is to give out more runes, but to make it cost fewer runes to level up a planeswalker.

It would take over 1.2 million runes to level up every Planeswalker.

At 300 runes per PvP battle, that's 4,266 wins.

At the rate of 10 wins per hour, grinding for 8 hours per day it would take nearly 2 months to level up all of the walkers.

If you were to open 2 free boosters per day and get all commons, it would take 29 years to get enough runes to level up your walkers.

I don't think it's unreasonable that it should take less time. Especially since there is nothing you can do with runes other than level up walkers, nothing you can do with duplicate cards except crush them into runes, and you can't buy your way in to 1.2 million runes.

I am almost to the point of being able to lvl to 60 sarkhan as soon as I will buy it.
That would leave only ob and Garruck out.

Anyways yes the grind for runes takes too long.
That probably is a little reduced by the event that gives runes anyways. More if you count crystals and packs "as" runes(cause you will get duplicates out of it and even if you do not, you will get duplicate of those cards in future)
It is still not enough for the price so a reduction would be the right move.

Think 20% less for single color and 30% less for dual colors to reduce the difference in cost, too marked IMO.

So don't get every planeswalker. Focus on a few, maybe one of each colour. And, again, don't focus on getting to level 60 as the be-all and end-all. Those final 10 levels cost about as many runes as the first 50, right? So levelling all your walkers to 50 costs only half as much as levelling all of them to 60. Take it slow. Treat each step of 10 levels up with your current planeswalker of focus as an achievement.

Getting every walker to level 60 seems like a crazily excessive goal to me, only suited for those people who can grind lots and lots of QB (or sink lots of money). Why would you want or need every walker at level 60? Most of them do just fine at level 35-45. It's only QB that cares about the jump from 59 to 60, right? And you can have a few 'walkers you use for when you're really grinding QB ribbons and the rest don't need to be anywhere near that level.

Why would you want or need every walker at level 60?

Because, if you already have 8-10 planeswalkers leveled to 60, then having one at 35 is a step backwards. It won't help you win more ribbons per hour in PvP, and it won't help you much against the higher levels of the Events.

It might sound like a lot of grinding, but for months, the best way for a free player to get crystals and rares (once Story Mode was exhausted) was by playing PvP mode over and over and over. Having hundreds of thousands of runes kicking around was a side effect of all the grinding, not the purpose of the grind.

Now with the events every week, crystals and rares are flowing like water, and it's no longer like pulling teeth to get enough crystals to buy a new planeswalker. But I really don't see the point in playing a level 12 Koth if I already have a level 60 Chandra and Ajani. I don't want to play a level 12 Tezzeret if I already have level 60 Jace and Kiora. And I don't want to level up Koth and Tezzeret until Sarkhan is at level 60. This is likely to take a while, since I'd rather wait for events to get crystals and packs than grind PvP on the weekdays.

I would definitely support this change. The developers have made a lot of neat Planeswalkers that everyone wants to try, but it creates strange situations where we don't want to use our hard-earned Planeswalkers until they are level 50+. My Kiora is just sitting there waiting to be used after until she's a high enough level.
