Story mode queries

I've been working through the story mode challenges for crystals and have reached the TimberWolf Challenge in Chapter 3. This is one of the ones where you have to kill 10 of its creatures. It has 6 supports, one spell and 3 creatures, a Collussus, woodland bellower and Dwynen, it took me a long and boring 30 minutes to finally kill 10 creatures.
My issue is with the spell in the deck "Foundry of the consuls"

I got really excited when it cast 2 of these in one turn generating 8 creatures but when I killed it, it only counted as one creature, my question is why when they enter the battlefield they activate individually but when destroyed they get treated as 1 creature?
Shouldn't they be treated as 8? they are token creatures so they aren't going into the graveyard.

In the Geas revenge challenge it also seemed that the AI was able to use its abilities on creatures while they were still in its hand, has anybody else noticed this, If this is the case surely we should be able to do the same?

This game treats 8 instances of the same creature as the creature being "reinforced" 7 times.

When the game first started, this sort of effect was broken with the card "Angel's Tomb". When the thopters entered, each one would gain +3/+3 until the end of turn. The same would happen if you had Thopter Spy Network.

At that time, it was the main way to beat some of the "win in x turns" challenges that appear in story mode.

However, this sort of effect was Nerfed when they updated the game. The game still shows multiple tokens entering the battlefield, but it has always counted this as one creature.

For the objectives where you have to kill lots of the opponent's creatures, Liliana's spell Necromantic Summons can be good as a way to bring back their dead creatures so you can kill it again icon_razz.gif

On some of them, I used blue Turn to Frog. Destroy one of their creatures, they get a frog. Then Turn to Frog that frog. With Jace's 2nd ability, you can fetch another copy of Turn to Frog and then destroy it again. Unfortunately, this strategy only works if you have Turn to Frog.

BTW, in Story Mode, some of the objectives are mislabeled, and I'm not sure if they've all been corrected. They'll say something like "lose 10 creatures" and what it really means is "destroy 10 of your opponent's creatures". But sometimes when it says "lose 10 creatures" it really means you need 10 of your creatures to die.

If you're unsure, you can pause the game after a creature dies and check your progress.

I'm pretty sure they fixed this bug.

They changed angels tomb to not trigger on token creatures, but they're still counted as separate creatures coming into play. It's just that they only count as one creature afterwards.

Thanks for the idea on using turn to frog! I might just get crystals for he guardian of meletis challenge!
