I recently champed Fist (only 3* champ) and I need advice on what to do next, I have decided to spend my CP points on 3* covers until I have 3-5 best 3* team. KK is level 91 and 331 and Switch is 122 and level 66 only. Who do I spend my 60CP points? My Cyclops is 213 and level 78 and IM40 is same. I'm leaning towards either KK or switch. Also note my Torch is 127 and Daken is 140. Thanks

I wouldn't use CP for that purpose you have quaranteed chance to pull a 4* with 20cp and a small chance for 5*. You could get instead 3 x 4* (better option imo in a long run). But if you absolutely insist, I would go with KK since she is better leveled.

Yes, save your CP until you are ready to add some fourstar characters. Three-star characters are fairly easy to cover between the DDQ and PvP/PvE rewards, it's a lot trickier to get fourstar covers.
  • I will but the covers I need are not going to come anytime soon, I will save my CPs once I have a solid 3* trio for PVP and PVE.

Well to reiterate what the others have recommended....do not spend CP on three star covers. If you think those covers aren't coming anytime soon....wait until you need to collect 4* covers. CP is the only thing that will earn you OML covers so hold on to it until you are ready to add 5* to your roster.

Both KK and Switch are good. I use Switch more than KK due to her purple generation however that is really the only reason I use her. KK is probably the better stand alone character if you look at overall abilities. They are both good though so you will probably want to champion both of them.

I've been in a similar situation as you before; in my case, it was HP, and at one point I wasn't earning new characters at a very fast pace to use it on roster slots, so I spent it on daily deals. Several weeks later I regretted that decision -- you may think that you have enough to waste right now, but this game has a way of penalizing the desire for immediate results at the expense of saving and waiting for better results.

So yeah, you may feel like your CP are just sitting there, but in time you'll thank yourself for not wasting them on 3*s.

To pile on, don't spend your command points on 3*s. You can maaaaybe make a case for buying the last cover for someone with expiring covers, since making them a champion will get you a legendary token. Otherwise, just wait for their covers to drop and target them on prize lists whenever you can. Here's the DDQ calendar for your daily dose of 3* goodness:
    http://mpq.gamependium.com/ddq/

Otherwise, try to finish top 200 in each pve for 2 pve covers (1 from progression), and champ your 2*s for extra covers.

I'm a day 820+ player who couldn't get Iron Fist covers to drop to save my life. I finally got him to 5/1/5 and decided to spend the 40 CP to get those last two covers and champ him about two weeks ago.

The difference between my situation and yours? I already had 28 other 3* champions, a 4* champion, and the fact that my IF was 5/1/5 would make it a long time running before I ever saw the cover I needed twice (at least 160 days worth of DDQ if you disregard other potential gameplay rewards).

There are certainly situations where spending CP on a 3* character makes sense. Yours is not one of them. I agree with everyone else that you should save your CP. The only character you've mentioned that would be remotely worth CP is potentially Cyclops, but 3 covers for him isn't going to be game breaking any sooner than if you waited and instead saved your CP for legendary pulls and just covered Cyc naturally. Patience is a big virtue in this game.

imho S.Witch is better than KK. This is a long term opinion.

S.Witch has life well into the 4*transition; She's essential for winfinite, and great at fueling Red Hulk and Teen Jean
Whereas KK is on the bench, the healing just isn't enough to survive high level PvP

If you're dead-set on one of those two... it depends on your third.

KK and Switch have the exact same active color profile as IF. Switch gets you a passive blue and KK gets you a passive yellow. Either one requires active yellow/blue/black colors to make a rainbow team. If you can get Panther up, he'll work great. Absent that, you're looking at one color non-active - not a bad thing.

In that scenario, my rankings for your third per team would be...

KK + IF - green and purple common powers, yellow and black passive. Need blue and red.
    - IM40 - arguably the best 3* and feeds green power
    - Captain America - Great damage and counter capability. Provides a marginal use for yellow.
    - Magneto - highly damaging powers & fills yellow active.
    - Vision. His red and blue tank. Yellow generally yields to KK unless he's far higher level.
    - She-hulk - fast powers, but on defense will consume green for relatively useless steal. Aggravating for PvP, though - her powers are relatively cheap and trigger KK's heal more often.

Switch + IF - green and purple common powers, blue and black passive. Need yellow and red.
    - Cyclops - Active powers in all 3 colors - on defense he'll fire them as they come.
    - IM40 - same as above.
    - Cap - same as above
    - Cage - Red is passive but pairing w/ IF is classic defense. Also reduces HP uses because match damage tends to do very little after his protect tile.
    - Magneto - Same as above.
    - Colossus - Res and yellow actives with the bonus of an active black, provides a reliable tank and decent AoE with yellow power activated. Not sure who to toss on the black, but you'll rarely use it.
    - Vision - blue becomes active and tanks for density with red, yellow tanks. I'm pretty sure he'll tank over Switch for blue.
    - Thor - not recommended. You've got enough uses for green, but if you minimize that in preference to red/yellow it can generate for the other characters.

Switch then Cyc seems like the best option to me. I'd still recommend not spending CP on the covers, though. They're far more useful spending on the classic LTs.
