Removal of 50HP at 500 progression, why?

In Fearless Defenders the 500pts = 50HP has been removed.

why not give the 600pts = 500iso the axe to bump it all forward to similar effect? 500pts for 50HP felt like a good threshold.

I appreciate that this has bumped all higher tiers forward and made the 900pts = 50HP and 1100pts = 3* cover in the slightly-possible zone now from the only-if-youre-lucky zone.

coupled with 3* for iso instead of HP this is going to make it even harder on transition players that are trying to purchase roster slots who can place well enough to get 3* covers but not reach 900pts yet.

Perhaps this discourages shield usage which would be a positive outcome. under new structure, without an alliance, a top 25 spot with an 8h shield means a net loss of 50HP if you dont reach 900pts. old structure it meant hitting 500pts would be break even and you'd get the top 25 covers but 0HP after 150HP cost. have to see how this shakes out... maybe i'll save HP like I saved Iso after boost price jumps if you break me off the shield dependency with this new math icon_razz.gif

  • Because the 50 HP reward at 500 was moved to be an Alliance placement prize.
  • It should have been duplicated, not moved! D3 needs to be nicer to players after the backlash they got last month with the thorverine nerfs. IT's the least they could do.
