How Do i get The Covers That I Want/

I've been playing for a while, so I feel a little embarrassed to ask...How do i get the covers that I want? It seems like everyone else has their characters maxed out, but I've been stuck getting the same covers since day 1! Is there a method to this (outside or perseverance)? I can't keep going on like this, I'll go mad. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks

It highly depends on what cover you want.

Are they in lightning rounds? Grind them like crazy!
Are they 2**? Heroic pack (though I suggest from events rather than HP)
Really specific but you have at least one cover? Consider HP to upgrade them.
Are they 4****? LOL

Well you can use the PVP and PVE events and progression awards to get specific covers - look through the rewards, find what you want, make a plan on how to get there, and execute that plan. If you are talking about getting specific covers from tokens - its random, and perseverance is the only real thing you can do, other than attempting to win the types of tokens that have drop the covers you want with greater frequency (special event tokens have subsets of covers they drop, all with higher percentages since there are fewer covers in the token).

If you dont mind shelling out lots of money you can buy levels for cover colors you already have 1 of, although this is very expensive and inefficient use of HP unless you are VERY far along and are looking for your final few covers of your collection.

Right now, I'm looking for OBW covers. I'm looking to build 3/5/5.

Might just be the luck of the draw, but OBW has been rarely seen by me for about a month or two. She was falling out of the sky at one point , but there seems to be a drought.

If you don't have the covers, consider a Heroic 10 pack.

The short answer is patience.

The slightly longer one is enter everything, get as many recruit and heroic tokens as you can, and keep at it. Certain heroes are offered as rewards in pvp, it's been a while since I've seen obw pvp rewards though. She's frequently more avaiable in pve events. Work with the covers you get and keep playimg the odds.

Buy em. Or be lucky that either they go up as event rewards or token draws.

Best chance for guaranteed covers for guys you want is just playing events.
Granted not all of them are always featured and sometimes it feels like forever for someone you want to be in the rewards but even in PvE getting powered up heroes is quite good for getting covers for 2* and 3* that you need.

I have pulled around 6 OBW from the heroic tokens I got from The Hulk event, she's not rare by any means. It's all random anyway (let's hope).

She was my highest 2* character for a while there, at 3/3/3. Then for about a month, I got no OBW covers. She was the lower-level character I brought with me because of her abilities. She's never been a reward during the time I've been playing (at least not since I've been competitive enough to get rewards), so it's all been luck of the draw. Suddenly, over about three days, I got enough covers to not only finish her, but sell three surplus covers.

That's just how randomness works.

Yup, hell, just bought one of the hulk tokens since they won't be offered in 3 hours... guess what I got? OBW again!

For the first 5 days of this hulk event, I got NOTHING BUT obw covers for every single heroic. No lie, I was keeping track. Didn't need a single one of them, would trade my spleen for a red hulk, etc. Anyway, she isn't rare at my house.
