Anyone else have a surprising amount of trouble with switch/if/ant-man?

Not an impossible team by any means. But they are quite irritating for any of my regular 'save health' grind teams (xpool/xfw, im40/thor, etc).

It's a tough team to handle, SW feeds purple like crazy, IF & Ant-Man have really cheap powers that can get out of hand fast.

Keep SW stunned or kill her ASAP, then it becomes a bit easier. You're still gonna take damage from IF though... that damn atk tile really hurts in the long run.

Loki's powered up, which helps out by giving him more health vs the Attack Tile. Most SW matches will trigger his Mischief, as will a lot of the black from IF. (If you have Jean Grey, Captain Obvious says she'd be a good one to use for the Match 5 punishment.) If you're using Loki, Patch is a good match for lots of protect tiles after Trickery. She Hulk is another good choice with Furious Charge, plus her red might get rid of the Attack Tile if it's towards the bottom of the screen.

I would like to meet the person who thought that Ultron/Carnage/Doc Ock would be a good team for the Peggy Carter required node, though. icon_mad.gificon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

That's the standard team for that node. Bring a stunner and stun Carnage ASAP and it's fairly easy. Daredevil is a good choice and happens to be boosted too. Miles Morales is another possibility if you have him at a decent level.
(Peggy's stun is probably too slow but could work in a pinch, just remember that Ultron is unstunnable and make sure it hits Carnage and Doc Ock).

I ended up using Hulk and Kamala Khan to Hulk Bomb that node. I took out Carnage first, then Doc Ock. Getting enough Blue to use Peggy's stun when Ultron is the only one left on the board was...frustrating.

I'm not sure if it's just a string of bad luck, but the Loki/Ares/Rags node is wiping me out every time since the 24hr mark of the sub passed by. I can't kill Loki before his purple goes infinite on cascades. So frustrating...

Any 3* team recommendations? All my standard reliable teams are failing me today...

I've been using DP / IM40 / Switch (all three champed) without much hassle.

IM40's yellow builds DP's red, SW fuels DP's purple. I go after Loki first, since he's lowest on health and his passive is annoying when match-4s go off. I use DP's red to chop Loki's health in half, and once SW's CD goes off I usually have enough purple to finish Loki off and take out a chunk of health from the rest of the team.

Then I go after Ares, and can usually pick up enough red to take some decent chunks out of him and Rags. If I have enough blue, that's a sizeable chunk of damage from IM as well. After that, it's just cleanup in aisle 5 for Rags.

Like others, the fight that was really killing me was the Ant-Man/SW/IF node from the first sub. Partly because I was using an unleveled Ms Marvel and was basically 2-manning it without two of my stronger characters, but even using a Hulkbuster fueled by Cy3lops' yellow, that node was absolutely destroying me half the time.

Two particularly aggravating fights in the Villains sub keep costing me health packs.

    1) Doom & his Doombots. Ugh. Free blue for Doom leads to a quick Technopathic Strike, which, since Doom doesn't have to match blue to fire it, usually leads to a heavy cascade and a quick Summon Demons. You start bleeding out, and oh yeah, the cascade probably leaves him very close to hitting Diabolical Plot, which can really hurt.

    2) Magneto & the two ISO mutants. Again, free blue for Magneto. Last time I cleared this node I ate three full power Magnetic Projectiles at nearly 5K a pop before downing Mags.
