Is 3* Mohawk Storm any good?

Through luck shes my highest covered 3* atm, was wondering if she has any good synergy with other characters?

    She's pretty fun with Loki and either Iron Man 40 or 4* Thor. She's squishy though, so she shouldn't be the first 3* you level.

    Her black is good, her green is ok and her yellow is bad. Just as the previous poster said though, she has very low health which is a big negative since her abilities are not nearly as match altering as other squishy characters like Loki or Hood. Her color scheme is unique though for 3* at blackflag.pnggreenflag.pngyellowflag.png. I would say she is low tier 3* in my book so I would wait to level her up until you have some other good 3* to accompany her. I have leveled over half of the 3* characters and still haven't decided to put significant iso into her yet for what it is worth.

    Echoing the resounding meh everyone is giving her. Back when she first came out she was decent and I used to use her a lot, but she's 1 of 40 3* characters and her abilities fail to impress. Her green is alright shake-up and AP generation, but not great, and her black doesn't have the same damage output of, say, Blade's tiles, but there's so many that they're hard to clear away. She's not useless, but she's not great either.

    A major selling point of Mohawk's Hailstorm is that it floods the board with attack tiles to prevent the enemy from laying down special tiles of their own.

    wonderful against traps. and her green was THE key to my galactus success (with hulk). in very specific circumstances, she's great. but like others have said, very low on health and not one you want to tank a bunch (i.e. not your first champ).

    The overwhelming response with regard to her mediocrity or even perhaps her close-to-uselessness has made it clear to me that she isn't any good icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

    That being said, I'm a huge Storm fanboy so I'm definitely keeping her icon_e_smile.gif

    I wouldn't say she's useless, she just shines in very specific situations. I prefer a 5/5/3 build most of the time as green is an awesome AP collector and yellow helps make green more effective, but all builds have their merits. It's really her Health that puts her low on the pecking order.

    She's great when boosted. I use her a lot when she's boosted as the 3rd to my IM40/4Thor team as Quebbster hinted earlier. Definitely a 5/3/5 build in that case since you want to prioritize yellow for IM.

    IM recharges and builds red/green/blue, Thor creates charged tiles, Thor blows away an opponent or two, Storm gathers up tons of AP with green. Wash, rinse, repeat. She's not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, just squishy.

    Ill most likely be in the top 100 in the almost-ended Nefarious PVP so ill be getting her another Green cover, which will get her to 5/2/1.
    Considering I'm still in 2* land I'm not going to invest any ISO into her atm, but i will definitely stick with my dear Mohawk storm, even if just for keepsakes.
    Everyone says Lady Thor is good with 3* Storm but im years away from making mine playable, given that my LThor is at 2/13 covers lol.

    Another question for those who are willing to answer: are there any other 3* characters who synergise with Mohawk Storm? Ive heard BP did but that was pre-nerf Storm.

    She is very good if you know how to use her. Her AP collector boost other characters attacks, yellow is decent damage + it removes team up ap and black is priceless because of the reasons mentioned above. If you don't like her yellow, combine with IM40 for superior AP collector team then put any third character to make huge damages or whatever you are going to do...

    Kamala Khan can get a nice engine going with MoStorm. KK purple creates the green, Storm tosses the board and if you cascade enough purple and green you can do it again. You'll generate enough other AP to power your third teammate's powers.

    Interesting! KKs healing would somewhat mitigate Storm's squishiness too!

    thor covers everything but blue and can really add to the green generation. also, gsbw can be subbed for kk if needed - slower and no healing, but will make lots more green.

    Another good setup is pairing her with Loki and Cmags. It's possible to win a match without your opponent ever getting a turn again once you get their powers train started; 5 of their 9 powers give board shake and/or AP generation (Loki purple, Mohawk yellow+green, CMags red+blue).

    This isn't an elite team by any means, but when she is boosted I use 3* Storm with 3* Cap and IF. I don't use Storm's greenflag.png in this case, so she sits at 3/5/5. Play with a usual IF strategy of collect purple (10 is best). Then you fire off Hailstorm to flood the board. Steve can pick up some red and blue as needed to potentially stun people and deal more direct damage, but the real mode of this team is to flood the board with attack.png so that the next time you fire IF's purpletile.png most of the added tiles are close together, and therefore match. With a board full of attack.png tiles it does ~2500 damage per turn (boosted). It cuts through teams pretty well, especially if you can keep them stunned with Cap and if you can use IF's green to put some strike.png on the board.

    Like I said, not elite, but I use it with some frequency, especially against teams that like to put tiles on the board.

    Never tried her with with Kamala, but have played her similarly with Black Widow. Interesting team for some really brutal nodes. Really slow, but crushed some really evil Gauntlet nodes with that when I was in 3* land. Quicksilver actually makes an excellent third.

    Still, she's definitely a niche character. She was my 22nd 3* champion, and I think that was probably about right.
