To pay for a member slot is very annoying

As a commander of Ascent, I find it very annoying to pay for the additional member slots. The members in my alliance agree to take turns to pay for the slots, keeping one slot open thus others can always send requests (a full alliance doesn't receive requests). Each time a new member joins, I need to promote him as a commander so that he can pay the fee. And then I have to ask him to leave (a commander can't demote another commander). Moreover, the new member can re-join immediately, there is a cooldown time (and I don't know how long it is). I urge D3P implement something so that the payment process will be easier, especially for those who will share the slot fee. Thank you.

  • Hey. I totally agree. Pursuant to that, I'm pended on your alliance and am cool with the fee. Thanks.

Why do you ask people to leave after paying?
Having people buy in and then lose the immunity to being kicked seems a pretty scummy thing to do

If you have good communication and trust in them, then it's fine to keep them on like that I feel. But, if they up and quit the game without leaving the alliance, then you just have a dead slot.

Over at kitchen world we trust people the other direction to let us know if they're unable to play
