    Unstable ISO is going pretty good. At noon I was 1st with about 800 points on 2nd. Since then I've been steadily dropping rank, currently sitting at 217th. I'll dive back in around 10PM and we'll see where I end up. It's still early, but I'm feeling quite good about my chances. There's a healthy number of goon-only missions and cMags+Patch just destroy them.

    Best there is ... just went up to 300 for my token. I didn't get anything useful, don't even remember which cover. I'm shooting for top 10, gotsta have my LazyCap. Not A-team material, but useful for countdown tiles if I'm not allowed to use cMags or Spidey. But to get to that point you need red and blue to lvl 5.

    In other news, I finally maxxed my OBW! I almost never play her and when I do I tend to come away rather unimpressed, but she may be the only healer after the Spidey nerf. I HATE playing against her though. I don't lose very often, but when I do you can bet it was an OBW team. Once that Aggressive Recon starts rolling ... and she's stealing Patch's greens and Spidey's blues. Grrrr....
    Anyway, next on the upgrade list is Psylock. I have her at lvl 50 with a cover cap of 102 (3/4/3). She will go great with LazyDaken, 6 black and you're doubling all of your strike tile damage.

    Human Torch ... haven't really formed an opinion on him yet.

    YES! We definitely need a forum banner! The second and last one are my favorites.
    We'll have to reduce them to the right size and add "Ancient X-men" though. Anybody got some good Photoshop skills here?

    Hi, not sure if you're still opening slots but this is my application:
    I am more concerned with connecting with some fun, mature players but I don't want to keep missing Alliance reward covers.

    I consistently place top-50. In the Thor PVP event I made top-25 with no Red ability (0/3/3 Thor). Also top-25 for the green Hulk cover.

    I have a nice diverse roster so I can usually leverage whatever Hero is featured.
    I have at least one cover of almost every Hero in the game. The only I don't have are X-Force Wolvie and Grey Suit Widow.

    My best comp is 2-star Thor (85) + OBW (77) + Daken (69).

    I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting fed up of Wolverine -Astonishing, always killing me in The Best There is. How can he always be lvl 169 in all three matches against Patch, or X-Force or himself? It's crazy!! icon_mad.gificon_mad.gif

    My last match, which I just won, was using Astonishing, Magneto MN and Classic Storm and my Wolverine went down first (only lvl 42), then Storm (after getting off one stun) and my Mag was down to 29 health points, yes 29 points and there were 5 or more strike tiles of 77 or 38 from him and his brat son Daken (Storm Classic was the other and took ages to get rid of).

    I threw caution to the wind and laid my Magnetic flux (lvl5) and Iron Hammer (lvl 3) at the same time and luckily they were far away enough not to interfere with each other. What did Wolvie match, 3 environmental tiles. Bang, the Flux hits him for 1900 points and hes down to 1200 from 4000. Still not dead, and I'm still alive on 29 points, what did he match again? Yep, 3 environmental tiles, well I set it up for him and he took the bait. Boom, Iron Hammer goes off and he goes down!!!!

    Only 29 points left and after 2 matches any one of which could have wasted me I survived! icon_eek.gif

    I am loving my Patch! With the buff he's level 281 icon_eek.gif He has 11400 HP and his berserker rage alone does 3.5k damage! I've even stopped bringing Spidey, because things just die to quickly. I'm running Patch + lvl 101 cMags + lvl 100 Hood. I try to get to 9 green and 5 blue --> berserker rage + infinite turn of Magnetic fields. Hood keeps OBW in check. Currently sitting in 2nd with 508. Top 10 should not be a problem.

    Unstable iso is still going well. At noon I was 1st with a 1000 point lead. There's little to do though. I play about 15 matches and everything drops to 50 points. I hope they boost the points, because otherwise we won't reach the good progression rewards.

    That's a hard fought victory Justice! I've had some close calls too, just can't remember any at the moment. I do remember killing my last man standing Spidey once by getting the +5 all AP from the jungle level. Not my proudest MPQ moment icon_e_smile.gif

    I hate Daken. Full disclosure, he has never been on my roster. I have always sold them. Not that I think he's isn't any good, he is. He just annoys me I guess. Also, daddy Patch needs his green, so Daken always gets his strike tiles in play. He doesn't bother me as much as he used though. Now that I have Patch and Spidey, his low HP and lack of active abilities make him an easy kill. I will definitely get his gold version though! icon_e_wink.gif

    Magneto MN is another 2* character that I kinda missed out on because I had already transitioned to 3* by the time I got their covers. He's good, just not as good as cMags, so there's no real reason to level him. Also I don't want to risk my strike tiles to unlucky placements of Iron hammer or Magnetic Flux. That being said, his purple was critical in ISO8 Brotherhood where he was buffed (and required for a number of missions). I have him at lvl 25 and I may throw some more iso into him when they bring back Brotherhood, which I hope will be soon.

    As to using Daken, I'm now using him more in 'The Best There Is' tournament simply because his strike tiles take up red tiles that either Daken or Wolverine's will use. Although he doesn't have any active powers, his strike tile generation more than makes up for it and as a character that does this he's completely unique which I like (even though he is annoying icon_e_biggrin.gif ).

    That's actually how I read it too. It's a reference to a character from Blackadder. His name is Flashheart, but they messed it up in the credits and had him listed as 'Flasheart'. He has these awesome lines like "I can make a piece of furniture orgasm just by sitting on it". Anyway, by the time I found out about the second 'h', it was already too late.     That used to be my Daken strategy back in the day when you could boost 4 colors to 6AP. Just cast Wolverine's green twice and lock up the red tiles. Here he hasn't been an issue. With Patch's beserker rage hitting for 3.5 he's a one hit kill. In half an hour I powered up from 515 to 821. That was fun! icon_e_smile.gif I'm sitting shielded in 3rd, while 10th has 600pts, so I should be good for the top 10 finish. The alliance is at 134 with 3844. Let's bring this thing home people!

    Unstable ISO, 1st place at noon with a 1000 lead on 2nd, 1300 on 3rd. It's been such a drag though, fighting all these low point missions. We're almost halfway and I have a little over 25k, only 5000 to go until I get that coveted 250 iso progression reward! Still 70k to get to the LazyCap yellow. So either we won't get there or points need to explode in the second half, making the first half basically meaningless.

    How did you guys do in the Steve Rogers - First Avengers tournament? I finished in the top 50 and got a red BWGS cover so now mine is at lvl 52 5/4/1 (ideally I want to get 5/3/5 or 5/4/4) so I'm ready to take on Hollowpoint Kiss. It really bugs me to have to keep switching between two active events (Unstable iso) as that means I'm constantly resting certain characters so I can use them in one round or another or going into battle not fully healed (which is ok for a few characters).

    All good fun though icon_e_smile.gificon_e_smile.gificon_e_biggrin.gif

    See I'm always curious when people sell their least used characters because you know round the corner will be that tournament when they get buffed. I don''t use them much either but for the sake of just having them I keep them, however there may come a time when I may need to free up a roster place instead of throwing HP fora purchase because now I'm up to 37 characters the slots aren't cheap.

    Anyway with regards to that next/new tournament I think Panther and Psylocke compliment each other with their black and blue and then choose from any of the other heroes to complete the lineup. Small problem is my BP is only 1/1/2 (lvl 30) and Psy is 1/1/0 lvl 15.

    Something that you guys might find useful. I have tweaked the spreadsheet that others have been using. I set up two columns to show current level and max level based on covers I have with how much ISO to get there.

    Just so you guys know, my phones broke. Damn thing feel off my lap when I got out of the car and broke the screen. It powers up but the screen doesn't display anything. I should have a new one soon
