Sire of Stagnation Offer-- Will this keep it out of packs?

So I noticed that the new Sire of Stagnation + Fat Pack offer has a timespan of one week, but the new patch is set to hit in four days. And seeing as how the new patch is supposed to-- iirc, at least-- release the rest of the cards into the BfZ pack pool, does the "Exclusivity" of Sire of Stagnation mean it'll be impossible to pull from packs even post-patch, up until the point at which the offer expires?

It's not a card that's high up on my wishlist (I'm mostly a Black/Red player with some White thrown in), but I'm just curious.
