Those of us who play paper mtg know that a new Nissa and Chandra were released in Oath, so what are your thoughts on what they could be? Also do you think they will release other PWs as well? Do you think the Oath of [name] cards will be obtainable? I for one would love to see Ral Zarek in this game.

If the posts on the FB page are any hint the Oath of Jace, nissa etc cards will be released... they are using those cards' art in the posts.


I think its fair to assume they are going to release new pws too. They released 8 with BFZ set and the paper magic Bfz set only had 3

Most of those 8 were "Legacy" planeswalkers.

Legacy lol that's funny. where are the EDH Planeswalkers? Daretti!!! That would be cool it could be a red reanimator deck. Commander would be very weird on here. Maybe a 40 card singleton deck with one mythic which all other cards must match its color. What if we could make 40 card decks instead of ten? Don't think it would work well with reinforcing i suppose.

If they add RAL ZAREK, I will buy him instantly. Been thinking about how he could be designed, based on his card. He is basically a chaotic tempo planeswalker.

Ability 1: The first card in your opponent's hand costs 2/3/4/5 more. The first creature in your hand gains Haste.
Ability 2: Deal 3/5/7/9 damage to a random creature your opponent controls. If he/she controls no creatures, do that damage to him/her instead.
Ability 3: Reset the board. Until the end of your turn, cards in your hand cost 2/3/4/5 less.

Ral would be excellent! And I like your design there very thematicly proper. I would drop some cash for Ral if the price was reasonable.

I am looking forward for Sorin Markov

Mainly because with bfz black got some cards for a lifegain deck but not properly enough.
Whit always had those cards and got some new one.

Sorin could be black and white.
Also the planeswalker himself in paper has effects based on life drain that would compliment wonderfully the deck.

Too bad that almost surely they will release it return to innstrad cause that makes much more sense

Yes I meant shadow over innstrad and there he is black and white
