Hello all,

Here are the hot fixes arriving in Daily Patches, after the R103 update:
(*Note: This thread will only be updated when relevant and some Daily Patches may not contain hot fixes.)

June 30th
• Magneto (Marvel NOW!)'s Magnetic Flux now displays the correct cost of the power in the Next Level text.

June 27th
• Fixed bug: Howard The Duck's power The Quack-Fu One-Two did not include Locked Green tiles when calculating how much damage it does.
• Fixed bug: Players that only had power levels in Carnage Rules were not able to send Carnage as a Team-Up.
• Black Panther can no longer activate Rage of the Panther if all non-downed enemies are airborne.

June 21st
• Fixed a bug where Luke Cage's Jab, Jab, Cross power did not have a banner when the opponent did not have the Jab, Jab, Cross Countdown tile on the board.

Another round of banner whack a mole? You guys know it's rigged, right?

Seems like fixing the bug that causes boards with no moves to not reshuffle, essentially locking characters out of the game, is considerably more important than a banner for one character's power, but whatevs...you do you D3

    What is the banner?

Pop-Ups that lag and distract from gameplay.

The banner is way less troublesome than the out of turn and/or disappearing damage numbers.

That might not be able to be addressed with a hotfix.

I don't understand how they decide what we are told about and what we are not.

For example, can anyone point to the thread that lets us know that Vision's blue has been put back to its original state?

This banner change may be in the hotfix, but I doubt that it's the only thing in the hotfix.

Vision's blue was fixed by the r103 patch. I don't think we get a full list of fixes in patches, just the highlights.
These threads are for the hot fixes included in the daily download.

It probably can't. And that's fine, but I'm in a bit of disbelief that a bug this game breaking made it out to the public, and after it did, that everything possible isn't being done to rectify it as soon as humanly possible. This is no minor inconvenience, this is truly game breaking. This has the potential to ruin a players entire PvP event if it happens on a shield hop - points lost from the retreat, time spent unshielded to be attacked, etc. Think of how irritated you would be if this happened during a stupidly overscaled Juggs/Ares/Daken match in Story mode when you were 2 turns away from winning the match...I'm just saying...I've seen a lot of bugs come and go in this game, but this one might be the worst. Take the guys off the banner updates and make them help the coding team fix this one, I promise you it's more important.

Maybe we could roll back the code to around a year or so ago? The visuals have steadily become a rickety mess over the last several months.

That's not really how most development companies work. Most developers are pretty compartmentalized, one group works on feature A, one works on feature B, one does hot fixes, another works on patches, etc. It's not usually efficient or in fact in most cases even helpful to move guys from the project they are working on to another project as they aren't familiar with the code in question since they haven't been working on it and would spend more time getting up to speed than actually pitching in.

That bug is super annoying and I do hope they manage to fix it. It hasn't happened to me yet but I fear for the health of my phone if it did, especially under the conditions you laid out. I'd also like them to fix the bug where the death animations are occurring before the damage is resolved onscreen.

Maybe so, but they could stand behind them like Fry during the escape from the Near Death Star...you know, for motivation and kitty.

I understand that this thread and others like it are for the hotfixes, my post was more a general point about communicating the content of releases.

For the R103 release, if we're getting highlights, I'd question their definition of a highlight when they'll mention sound effects but not a change that takes a character from very good back to meh. Thank the stars I wasn't using Vision, or had him in my last winning team in Simulator.

    What is the banner?

It's a poor chap that gets caught in a gamma radiation blast, leading him to a troublesome existence.

I think they should get the original game code they started with and work from scratch to add stuff back in,just lately everytime they fix a bug with an update 2 more pop in to wreck everything else

So Vision blue power enhancing all character powers was the bug? Right now he's only boosting red.

    Yeah. Really.

This was such an easy and common sense contribution, that most other games do.........
