Tiered nodes in Story Events aka 'PVE'

I'm on my lunch break so i'll just cut to the chase
In order to make roster development more relevant, how about tier-ing the nodes?
Currently,
3 Easy nodes
3 difficult nodes
3 essential nodes
I'll ignore the loaner nodes and one-off nodes
Suggested,
3 nodes - players can only use 1 and 2* characters. This includes one 2* essntial node.
3 nodes - players can use 1,2,3* characters only. This includes one 3* essential node
3 nodes - players can use all characters. Includes the 4* essential node.
Each set of 3 to have
1 Trivial,
1 normal,
1 difficult node
Or set all the 3 trivial nodes in the 1-2* set of 3.
This helps to improve gameplay as
- all tiers are used in PVE other than just 1 character of that tier
- people dont jump development of their roster by just using 5* and 4* in PvE and ignore the rest
- makes 3* relevant again
- roster development is more crucial to winning or placing well in PvE
Edit : - makes it more interesting?
Edit 2: - scaling levels of opponents become more do-able for the 2* and 3* tier since the 5* are locked out of this tier. Players with high level 5* aren't 'forced' to use only their 5* in order to play the Story Event
Obviously people could just develop a few characters of each tier to overcome this problem but they may get stuck in Heroic and Simulator events where there is a greater variety of opponents.
Perhaps Placement rewards may have to be adjusted.
Scaling will have to be adjusted to take into account the levels of the lower tiers.
