    Haven't read it but can't be worse than Angel series of Punisher (the one where Puni got powers... blergh).

    Anyways, stick to the MAX series, it's where he shines.

    Agreed. Both Punisher MAX by Garth Ennis and PunisherMAX by Jason Aaron were perfect.

    For the top stories I'd add Circle of Blood (pencilled by Mike Zeck) from 1986. Still a powerful story, which determined Frank's character.

    Greg Rucka also did an amazing job.

    How can anyone hate on FrankenCastle? Sure, it's absolutely nothing like typical Punisher, but it was just such a fun ride that I couldn't help but enjoy it.
