I have 1000 HP that IceIX gave to me as comp last week, and have not touched it as i only use HP to buy a shield with 3 hours to go in the pvp's. I have enough roster space and some to spare for new heroes so my question is this. Is it worth it to buy those daily deals for 100/200 HP? I only ever did that once and got a purple Magneto. Are the chances greater you will pull someone good if you buy it instead of earning it?

    I've never spent my HP on anything other than roster slots. (and the odd shield)
    Considering how much you're on, I reckon you should just save it for that.

    Nah, that is a great way to waste HP. You will most likely get Cap, M. Hawkeye or Moonstone.

    Just wait to open your heroic after the Hulk subs end tonight for a brief preview.

    Haha yeah i have been getting nothing but Captain from my heroic all week and Juggernaut from my standards..... I did have great luck recently but thats all gone now icon_e_sad.gif

    To me 1k HP is two roster slots and a couple of shields. Those are useful things! Bag-Man and Captain America covers are not useful things!

    specially at the rate they're releasing, and past 30s its like 450 hp a pop. can't go wrong with slots.

    I used to buy Heroic Tokens at 100 a pop, but you never do get the cover you want (if you're after a 2*).

    If you're after a 3*... I've found it a lot more helpful to get Top 50 in LRs to get Diabolical Tokens or whatever the Heroic equivalent is (I don't have high level Heroes, just Villains).

    EDIT: By that I meant you shield to protect your rank in LRs.

    Roster slots / shields / if u have some disposable income then maybe some 3* covers.

    I accidentally clicked on the daily Heroic token back when I needed roster slots desperately, got a Moonie. I was so outraged I deleted her immediately. Best 100 HP ever spent not counting the 50 HPs from the Prologue they make you spend on mBW and cHawkeye icon_e_biggrin.gif (didn't know you could turn that off). So yeah, do not waste HP on random chance covers, ever.

    The daily deal isn't too bad, I wouldn't unless you're well set on slots though.

    You can't in LR if you want to finish near the top for covers, unless you wanna go up to the top then shield and drop down to tokens, then totally yes go for that. icon_mrgreen.gif

    I've seen people in LR's get enough of a lead to shield and get top 2's.

    You can shield in the LRs if you have a good lead for the last five minutes or so and get top 2. Ten minutes is really pushing it.

    This. I refuse to buy packs now, I've wasted far too much HP on them in the past, I could've spent that HP on covers for more useful characters instead.

    You need two scarecrows more then a shield, he prob could have done just as well without shielding.
    likely high in their MMR, like a *** roster in a * group of opponents, since you compete with everyone but your MMR is still your own.
    I wouldn't wanna fight through something like a max villan team so there is that too, or even say max mags, doom and hulk in a mags round.

    Chances are the same. And it's a bad investment, like buying 250 ISO on 100/200 HP.

    Did this a few days ago and got a Red MN Magneto, did it today and got a purple OBW. One of those I needed and one I didnt - but for a total of 200HP I think that the cover I got was worth it. For me I only do it when I am a few days from needing another roster spot and I know I can earn that HP back before then. Its a gamble, but if people are willing to shell out 1250 to level up a cover, then I dont see anything wrong with it once or twice a week.

    So far I've spent HP only on roster, shields and a healing pack purchase I needed near the end of a tournament. My roster is 32/32 but I am not going to increase the size of it any more just to pile up worthless characters. If they ever spend some time to make everyone useful, or those characters are needed regularly and not once each month for a tournament, I may consider spending on roster again. I am sitting at 875 HP now and once I get to 1500+ I will start spending on 3* covers. Event tokens are probably not worth buying because the chance to get a 3* you need is too small.

    I agree. I find that the game handles ISO and HP pretty good. There are periods of time when I have an abundance of one or the other but it usually balances itself out with new covers or characters. So I would not spend HP on random covers as it's too much luck involved. Those extra HP will find it's uses.
