    Vet brack 3 (the one that ends in 6 hours) is at 806 players now.

    It is up to 980 now, though I cannot promise any more updates until we are in the final 8 hour stretch.

    I was at a music festival all weekend and wrote the event off; glad I can at least help some people.

    Must be an alternate bracket, my slice 3 veteran bracket is only at 723 players.

    Oh man, I told my wife it was at 980... she mis-understood and joined immediately. It's at 991 now :-/

    Did S5 fill? I joined on an alt steam account (def not vet so I'm not sure) 166 people there top player Hermann with 6772.

    My guess would be yuor alt is in the "newbie" one... it was 996 as of 10 minutes ago when I pestered my wife. icon_e_wink.gif

    Guy at the top definitely doesn't have a newb roster though, 390 Jean, 8 champed 4*s. Most of the other top 10 are still in 3* champ land though, seems odd. Thanks for the updates from your wife, sorry she took the bullet...

    S5 vet wrapped... new one is already at 80 ppl and climbing quickly.


    EDIT:
    "Newbie bracket" just means that person hasn't places well in the past 2-3 events... a lot of vets will barely play PvE in order to drop down to the newbie ones so they can get the new character easily.

    That's why ppl ask for newbie or vet brackets so they can determine which one they're likely to be it.

    Just an update on S5, now at 199 after about 3 hours, and its gonna be a fight for top 100, you can tell.

    Either enter now or gamble it will fill right before event close, which I doubt

    For future reference I joined with 5.5 hours to go as 285th in slice 5. I ground all nodes down around 6 times and 7th on some of the essentials and ended up t100. Hope is always there icon_e_wink.gif
