I love deadpool, I like Tacos and above all I need to be competitive in this game, usually I end up top 30 but had been top 1 sometimes as well. My main roster is Thor 85, BW 66 and Rag 72 or Mags Mnow 60 Classic Storm 61 and Dkan 63, with those two teams I usually rock, I play daily even to the point of losing sleep, I only have one month and a little more playing but have reached those levels very fast. If Im able to join Ill bring more tacos and 11 dollars for the 15th spot.

Lower tier players are welcome as well as long as you are VERY ACTIVE.
with MMR the way it is, lower tier guys can get just add many points as the top teams.

Im always trying to keep my MMR low, so I can constantly place atleast at atleast one 3* spots in events, eventhough I may be missing the time on some days

Morning DPT! looks like we've been hovering around 5-7 in the tournament this morning. How everyone doing in their brackets right now? I'm currently sitting at #18 with 345.

R33fs, I usually do a 3 hour Shield at about the 4 hour to go mark to protect me from the guys climbing at the end. I like it to expire close to the end in case I need to fight my way back up though, then Shield again within 15 minutes to go. It's a tricky balance though, I've had so many 2nd and 3rd place finishes when I thought for sure I'd cruise to victory.

I'm at the point where of someone can pay for the points, they can PayPal me, I add the spot and add them. I've cleaned my personal HP stash out, and have dumped more money than ever the last 24 hours into this game. i can't spot anyone HP in advance currently.

Any other Commanders are free to add slots and members as they wish though if any of you other guys are willing!

I agree, later on they need to institute trading of covers/hp or pooling of HP (we win 100 HP each in tourney, all donate it towards buying another slot)

My guess is that having different PvP brackets is good, until the flipside where the PvE events give alliance rewards and then all the maxed rosters cleanup.

I don't care if we are #1 because I don't have the maxed roster, but looking at the bracket rewards if everyone is as active as they say they are we should get the second tier rewards which are still quite tasty.

I'm currently top 5 with about 430 points, could easily be more but my experience is that if I go too hard at the start I run into the wall of triple 141s and then place worse than if I just wait. fell out of top 5 into top 10 for predator and prey because of this =(

This has been a very active tournament. Even though it's the only event right now, I think the whole alliance thing has really bumped up play. I'm currently sitting at seventh in my bracket with 357 points. I'm having the hardest time getting past that mark. I am constantly having hundred point swings. So shield I must. It does not help that I am, and have been for a long time, in MMR hell Most teams are always 20 levels or more over me. This doesn't affect me on the winning side of things. I have no problems taking out teams a hundred levels higher than me ( The AI in this game is really horrible) but then when it comes to retaliations I am screwed. This whole problem is because of Rags. I started playing MPQ within the first week of its release on IOS and Rags was one of my first pulls. I had him at fairly high level within the first three weeks. As I recall, he was sitting at the equivalent of a 3/3. And then when they converted covers he ended up at a 3/4. Too make matters worse ( or at the time it seemed like luck) I had a decent Gray Widow, C. Storm, and Thor. Because of this I never even really had a one star team. So.....At this point I was playing daily but playing what I would still consider casual. I never lost!! If I had to guess, my losses were probably in the 1%. So I had my team- Rags, C. Storm and anyone else. Because I couldn't lose I never bothered to level up any of the other characters except Wolvie and I spent all my Iso on boosts.( yeah, I know!!! That was so stupid!! But remember I was playing casually and was actually getting bored. It became my taking a **** game.) Than the Rags nerf happened and my world was flipped upside down. I was furious and swore up-and-down that the relationship was over. Well, that lasted about a day. I hate losing and my competitive side took over. I started finding ways to win with all kinds of different team combinations and the epiphany hit. I was having fun and more fun than I never had at this game. So now the hooks are in deep and this is just my way of saying "welcome everyone, I am Mr Bunk and I am addicted to MPQ"

If bracket rewards stay as they are where 2-50 gets 2nd place rewards, we'll be in good shape for quite awhile I think.

I'll leave it open where of someone wants to buy their own way in they can, but I'm not going to push totaling hard. 20 members would be great, but doesn't look like it'll keep us out of easy 2nd place rewards for now. We should be a desirable alliance , so hopefully new recruits will come to us.

have you guys tried tanking is SHIELD versus? It does work, and you don't need to win with your tank team first. Go into a battle, and hit retreat for an instant loss. Do this several times, and you will see your MMR go down. Tanking in real events is going to be a challenge with alliances now in the mix. Not sure the best way to handle it yet

i have taken to tanking in Shield when i get bored, at one point I went from around 1000 points to as low as 20, couldn't get lower no matter what I tried. Now I am back up to baout 300ish because it is the best way to farm iso with no other events going on. retreat until the I get 5 easy wins, blow through them, then repeat. even with almost every character it is a real pain. Also no way to stay competative (not get creamed by triple 141s) unless I tank the shield training and lightning rounds. I can win against 100s, but then the turn around and crush me.
