Ok guys it might be a good idea to provide the DEVS with some info about what motivates us to play a particular event.

Imagine you're playing a really awful 7day pve that you really don't want to. I'm said pve there is a great t10 prize (let's say iceman for arguments sake) 120k iso throughout the event, and 20 event tokens (with an 80 item vault).

Which would motivate you to play the event more?

    No, of course not but CP is a big motivator too. That'd be my pick, closely followed by iso.

    Ok added those options into the poll. Sadly it's erased the votes from before so people will have to recast.

    I didn't include cp originally since I didn't think people ground ridiculous nodes just for 1 cp. That's an oversight on my part, thanks for the correction

    I think of the cp as a bonus to my t10 play.

    Covers. I would much rather obtain another full cover character than have a fully leveled character. The reason is I feel I've met some completion with the character when fully covered, and now I can decide how much to level them. Fully leveling a charcter just takes so long and really isn't fun at all.

    Tokens with a vault that has less than 85% 2 star rewards within it.

    I voted tokens, because I like opening them. If I had a second pick, it would actually be for fun.

    You missed out crit boosts. Clearly they are the best things ever. People play neverending wave nodes and overscaled wolvie+goon feeders for these things!

    Hi, I voted for nothing, I will never play PvE. As long as scaling is punishing my roster for progressing I won't play PvE. I can't stand the grinding that PvE requires, getting harder and harder as you try to progress.

    the only thing that would make me farm a litle bit would be insane iso/cp/tokens rewards for clearing the nodes, not progression. Or if progression rewards were good from the begining, but you need to clear a lot of nodes to get something even slightly interesting...

    yeah, I lost hope long time ago in PvE, I was a top50-100 PvE player long time ago (I'm talking 2 years here) with some top1-10 every now and then. But I got tired of having to play so hard to place well or get anything good.


    Maybe if progression rewards were a bit better since the begining and there wasn't placement rewards (to compensate) I would play a litle bit of PvE. Scaling and the grind still sucks, so I won't play hardcore PvE.

    Story Mode needs to become like Daily Deadpool. Play it once for fixed rewards.

    Fighting other players for covers is PvP.

    All the stuff we don't especially enjoy but preservere with (grinding for minor advantage in all its forms) needs to he a seperate mode.

    More effort = more ISO. Right now, rewards are based on RNG and doesnt reflect the needs of player. Is your account 10 or 1000 days old? Do you upgrade 2*s or 4*s? Doesnt matter, here is yar 70ISO.

    There should be something that reflects players power and offer an adequate reward. And i am not talking about scalling, that decrease the value of hard work, progress made over years, or power of hard earned (and upgraded) covers, while offering same rewards for everyone.

    I voted Iso. I'm glad I read the first post before voting, because just looking at the poll itself, I was going to say "supporting my alliance buddies" needs to be an option.

    That said, Iso is hands down the biggest motivator to play Story mode. Tokens and covers are just Iso in a different wrapper most of the time. CoPs are great and all, but there would need to be a whole hell of a lot more for me to grind out an event with those as my top priority. I am actually one of those crazy people that actually finds the game fun if you can believe it. However I'm already at the point where I feel like I want to be able to play less and not lose ground.

    CP and then ISO, so I voted CP. Right now, getting the best 5s is the most important in the game for me, so getting as many CPs as possible is paramount.

    ISO, mostly. I need it, I want it, I gotta have it!! But even with these PVEs, it's very slow.

    I hope they do double-ISO more regularly! That one was great for ISO gain without so much pain.

    I voted Iso but usually if I'm lazy I farm the CP, not the Iso.

    However, getting the iso means way more to my enjoyment of the game than CP, so I'm still standing my decision.

    Fun! Is there any other reason to play games?

    Grinding out things repetitively is not fun outside the realms of full on RPG's, in those you have a goal to reach, be it levelling up enough to be able to beat the next area or trying to unlock an awesome weapon. Both of these lead to a real sense of progression and that sense is what MPQ is lacking especially in story events. Versus is understandable because we should always be against our equals or greater but story mode really punishes players for getting better.

    I did grind a lot in the double-iso event but it's CP that makes me play the PvE the way it is now (test or no test). I don't care for 3* covers and 4* covers are way too far to be achievable (i did finish top 10 twice since they were introduced as top 10 award - won't do that again unless I end up in a noob bracket of sorts).

    If not for CP I would not open the PvE for a while. I stop the grind at max progression. For that - i like the new environment where I can get CP at my schedule. I can also grind some nodes for the easy iso which is a big bonus.

    My 1a answer is CP so that's what I voted for. I actually would add that HP is a significant factor for me. I usually t50 every sub and that HP can add up quite a bit over time. As a very close runner up, iso is of course a strong motivator, it's basically the only reason I play DDQ every day since it's gotten to be pretty boring after over a year of clearing essentially the same nodes every day with basically the same teams.

    extra iso is great, but the same time commitments that I used to place t50 easily now gets me 60th-70th, which means one of my main hp sources is nixed. 3 main reasons I play pve: iso and then a combo of cp and hp. cp and hp are pretty much even for me. I get cp from pvp and alliance sometimes but a little extra from pve is nice. hp is needed for slots and daily deals along with 2-4 shields/pvp. I used to be able to almost keep up. not with this new version though.

    You people are silly. Everyone knows the only reason to play PvE is to complain about playing PvE.

    Seriously though, ISO is the number one reason for me. As a transitioner into 4* territory, CP is all well and good, but I'm still not a fan of my progression being determined in a largely lottery-style fashion.

    If there were a system where I could reliably get covers without having to grind like a madman at either set hours or just because I have nothing else better to do, I would change my vote to covers. And no, PvP is not as reliable for me regarding covers. If 4Thor is boosted, 1k is easy in PvP, but not nearly as easy outside of that.
