I love this game

I guarantee the people who put thier hard work and time to bring us this game, never get any thanks. I really enjoy this game. It brings Magic the Gathering to us but with a fun twist. People complain about spending your money on a game, but that is how they make money. This is free game with no adds! Plus if you like it, that is how you can show your support. All the people who get riled up about what they think is wrong with the game, actually love it themselves, that is why they get so vocal about what they don't like. Just remember, you guys are doing a great job with this game. Keep up the good work of adding new cards and planeswalkers. Set two has been enjoyable so far, and I can only imagine all of the great things you will add in the future to continue making this game great!

I agree, I also believe people are getting riled up because of a deep liking for the game. I just hope d3go and hibernum will keep working to make the game better, and also use suggestions to build the game even more.

Agreed on this. The game has been fun despite the kinks to be worked out with the game, be it balance or bugs. And one can still enjoy the game without paying if they so wish. Thank you Hibernum for the experience!

I agree , the game is good, and I expect a lot of future updates . But without a real pvp and an Auction House for trading cards, I would not predicted a very long future...

I agree it's a great game and that the developers do a fine job.

The issue I have with the prices are not that they charge money for some products, but that the prices they charge are about 10 times as much as I would consider to be reasonable.

This appears to be a conscious decision on the part of the people who set the prices (who are probably different people than the game designers who show up on this board). My perception is that the people setting prices would rather one person spend $500 than 100 people spend $5.

Suppose there was a movie theater in your town which charged $0 for admission. However, they also charge $75 for popcorn, $50 for soda and $10 to use the bathroom.

But you could check in on the movie theater's app every 8 hours and get a voucher for 3 kernels of popcorn. Every few days, you could get a voucher for 1/2 ounce of soda. After a month of solid play, you could get a free bathroom voucher.

Most people would see a price structure like that as gouging. Even though the movie is free. Some people might avoid the theater on general principle. Some would go for the free movies, but they would never spend a dime. A handful of unfortunate souls would shell out the full asking price for the popcorn and soda, keeping the whole enterprise operating.

A lot of people are passionate, not just about this game, but about Magic the Gathering in general. They see things like Puzzle Quest as an opportunity to expand the greater awareness of Magic the Gathering and the Magic the Gathering brand. Good game design and development helps expand the brand. Charging extremely high prices for very little return does not.

I agree with the title, I too love this game! I have spent hundreds of hours playing and each update helps keep the game fresh. There is a lot of negativity on these forums and I just want to say something positive. icon_e_biggrin.gif Keep up the great work!

I wanted to say that I really like this game as well. I also really feel like the developers listen to our concerns and try to make it right.

For instance the elephant in the room is that people feel like it's too hard to get the good cards they want and that there needs to be more variety.

This most recent release brings out events that pay off handsomely and they put a sale on crystals and the card packs got a little better.

It's not quite the return to the original days of relatively good drop rates that people have been clamoring for, but they are opening up more free-to-play space and it is a business after all.

Hopefully their test of lowered cost will pay off and it becomes a trend to include an increasingly broad pay-base.

I pray to RNGeesus that the event prize payoff won't get reduced in the future, but I'm maintaining a wait-and see stance before I start spending my hard-earned manacrystal.png on big boxes.

tldr: Great event, loved it! Can't wait for next weekend! Please don't hurt me again with a prize nerf.

I only spent $50 on this game a few weeks after it came out, which is a pretty reasonable amount to spend on a game if you ask me.

I have a ton of great cards. Some I got from the packs I bought with purchased Crystals, but many I've gotten just by getting two 8-hour packs a day and collecting the daily rewards.

In other words, the reward system for this game is not too bad. I think the devs are doing a great job and I plan on spending more money in the future.

As far as the actual gameplay, it's very addicting and strategic (with a healthy amount of luck thrown in). I love this game.
