Young avengers and so on.

Health regeneration on matches made after you have won - all matches/chains that happen after a player has won a match regenerate health for your characters

New characters
Gambit - as a potential legend as he is an omega class mutant
Archangel - potential for his duel personality on his powers
Apocalypse- nuff said
Leech - a lesser know character but his draining power would make matches more difficult.
Nightcrawler- with a porting attack
Any of the avengers enemy's
Puma (would be similar to black panther)
Radioactive man
The majority of the wreaking crew
These would slow for new story arcs as well
