Roster advice 3-4* Transition

I'm getting to the point where I'm not entirely sure what to do with my roster again. I have a good number of 3*s championed and a few 4*s up in the 180 range with those 3*s. Beyond hearing about Hulkbuster/Iron Fist being a good combo, I haven't figured out any good combos to start integrating my 4*s in with my championed 3* teams.

Is it time to start bumping my 4*s that are currently holding at 180 up past that (to 200 or so), or should I continue broadening my 3* base?
I always level my 4*s up if they're below 140 when I get covers for them, but I want to see if they're useful before leveling them further. I know that most of my 140 4*s aren't well regarded, but is Flaptain worth levelling up toward the 180 guys?

If my 4*s aren't ready to go higher yet, are there any 3*s I should really focus on getting championed? Iron Man is still short 1 cover, but I'm planning on championing him as soon as I can.

Right now my primary teams are:
Cage/Fist/3* Magneto or Hulkbuster
KK/LCap/Hood or Blade
3* Cyc/GSBW/Doom

Winfinite: SW+GSBW+Prof X (if you have decent covers for him)

    I've also seen Fury+IF+Gamora (it's a pain to fight).

I don't Think you are quite ready to transition to 4* land yet. You are Close, but you need more red for Hulkbuster Before he becomes a credible threat. Your Iceman seems to be coming along nicely, but all the other top 4* are very undercovered, sadly.
I see no harm in continuing to work on your 3* roster at this Point, it can serve you well even after you start dipping your toe in the 4* pool.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of, but I thought it was time to get another opinion on it.

I'm working on getting Storm up to 166 now since she's the Essential in the next event.
  • I have a number of 3* characters that have been championed, but not maxed. Most of my 2* are Maxed at Lvl 144; however, I find it difficult to increase my 4* and 5* because of how the cards fall. I don't spend vast sums of money on the game, and I don't have all day to play; so I grind it out when I can. I'm just being patient, and slogging through the screens, and I know the cards will [eventually] come my way.

My view is the tortoise - not in a hurry, but to improve my strategy as I grow as a player.

    Just my $.02
