greenflag.png POISON SPIT - greentile.png 5 AP: Toad's spit isn't exactly friendly. Deals 100 damage and stuns the target for 1 turn.

Level Upgrades:
Level 2: Deals 200 damage.
Level 3: Deals 300 damage.
Level 4: Deals 350 damage and stuns for 2 turns.
Level 5: Deals 550 damage.

Max Damage:
Level 3: Deals 1500 damage.
Level 4: Deals 2100 damage.
Level 5: Deals 2400 damage.

yellowflag.png TONGUE LASH - yellowtile.png 10 AP: Toads have long tongues, and use that to their advantage. Destroys 1 chosen tile and steals 6 AP of that color. Stuns target for 1 turn.

Level Upgrades:
Level 2: Steals 8 AP.
Level 3: Steals 12 AP and stuns 2 turns.
Level 4: Steals 15 AP.
Level 5: Steals All AP of that color.

blackflag.png LEAPER - blacktile.png 10 AP: Toad can leap far and wide in all directions. Places a 3-turn countdown tile, and while it is on the board, 10% damage is returned to the enemy.

Level Upgrades:
Level 2: Returns 25% damage.
Level 3: Returns 35% damage and 4- turn countdown tile.
Level 4: Returns 40% damage.
Level 5: Returns 50% damage and 5-turn countdown tile.

    What if we made it a timer-ability, that procs trap.png tiles whenever Toad's attacked. In turn, these abilities strengthen his other abilities. You either leave him alone while the countdown.png is in play, or he can really lash out (no pun intended).

    Thematically all 3 powers fit the character really well, but yellow and black each have a big problem.

    Yellow is overpowered. Rulk purple is very powerful and this puts it to shame. Imagine Rulk getting 15 green instead of 7 for example.

    The problem with black is that it does not evoke "leaping". If black was passive and perpetual (like IF attack tile or Cage's protect tile) then every time it was matched it could "leap" to another part of the board. Picking up on ronin-san's idea, maybe each time it is matched it leaves a trap tile (aka a wet sprocket icon_lol.gif ) then leaps to a random color and becomes an attack tile until matched (it would start as an attack tile at beginning of the match). Attack - Trap - Attack - Trap etc (multiple traps possible).

    Edit: for clarification the attack tile would be fortified so the trap is in it's place after the attack is matched.

    I think the biggest flaw with this character design is making him a four star. I believe Toad is more of a 2* range hero.
