Help with 2* - 3* Transition!

So my 2* roster consists of
100 Wolverine 5/5/3 (Champion)
94 CStorm 5/5/3 (Champion)
79 OBW 5/5/1 (4 Extra Blue Covers but no Black icon_eek.gif )
38 Daken 2/4/5 (also 4 Extra Blue covers)
31 MNmags 2/2/1

Basically since my team is half baked, I go into battle with Storm, Wolverine and OBW unless there's a boosted character or I sub in a 4* (Classic Thing 0/1/1 or War Machine 0/1/1) to tank up hits.
That being said, my 3* roster mainly sits at 4/13 covers and I have a lot of 3* at 1/13.

Should I bother leveling Daken at all? I want to level MNMags for a CStorm, MnMags and OBW 2* team, but I don't know how long it will take me to make the 3* Transition .
Should I save the ISO?
How do I move forward?

Your threestars aren't going to be useful until you have at least 10 covers for them. Level up your twostars so they can help you get more threestar covers.

So should I invest ISO into both Daken and MNMags?

I tend to use my MNMags far more often than my Daken, but that's my play style. Daken is faster damage, with a self heal if you can manage the board well enough. MNMags is big damage with countdown tiles.

Your play style will affect who you invest your ISO into. Both are great characters in the 2* world, just pick one that fits you and chase it to its max, and then move on to another. Following that path, I was able to Champion them all without losing too many covers in the process.

    Hope this helps!

So, I invested my stored up ISO into Daken. Turns out, I dont like the play style. I'll wait for more MnMags covers and then level him up to use with Storm.
Waste of my ISO but at least I know what I want.
    Thanks!
Also, at what point should I try to complete the Big Enchilada? I've never tried it before, I guess I should. For query's sake, what's the minimum requirement to complete it, roster wise?

There's a topic devoted to beating the Big Enchilada.

MNMag and Storm are typically effective, but they're usually paired with either Thor or Ares to make use of their yellow and green active powers. OBW was a lynchpin for me before I had an effective 3* team, but the format has changed so I don't know whether she's still viable. It's probably worth a shot right now - use Wolverine, Storm, and OBW. Concentrate on collecting blue, then either use it to delay tiles with OBW or save it up to blast Storm's AoE. If you're lacking use Storm green to shake, otherwise wait for red accumulation and fire off Wolverine's strike tiles. Don't fire off Wolverine's red until you absolutely need it, because it'll decrease the effectiveness of his green.

Once you get Mags up, he'll boost storm and make things easier. If you can max out blue and purple before the final round you should be able to get off 3-4 blizzards, which finishes the match before the opposition has a chance to use the accumulated AP.

Thank you so much! I only need one more black cover to 13/13 OBW and then I need to work on MnMags, who is still 5/13! T_T
But since technically I'm only 36 days in I think I'm good! icon_mrgreen.gif
    Your advice was invaluable, sensei.
    Thanks and good luck!

No wonder you don't like his play style, I don't see any characters (except for Storm and she's too squishy to tank) that use green. Find yourself a Thor or a Torch so your green matches are of use. The trick of Daken is to have him tank (since he has a self heal), make lots of strike tiles and only use his blue as a finisher.

But yes, you should get more covers for Magneto since he'll tank blue for Storm. My team for the Big Enchilada is Thor, Magneto and Storm. Use Magneto's purple to fuel Storm's blue, use his red to get more AP, and Thor's yellow to fuel Storm's green to get more AP. And then just chain stun the entire enemy team.

I sold off all my Thor's long ago... icon_e_sad.gif
I just got my hands on a Modern Thor but I doubt he'll be useful until I get all his powers...
In the mean while, I think once Mags is up and running I'll run the big Enchilada with Wolverine, Storm and Mags. Wolverine can function as my tank since he has a fair amount of bulk (some 7k health) and he'll tank the Green and Red. His abilities won't have any use since I'll be using the AP on Mags and Storm, but I don't think I can raise a Thor atm.
Is that a feasible plan, in your opinion?

Wolverine is a decent tank since he self heals. Not much, but it's better than nothing. He and Daken make a good team, actually - together, they are strong in all colors even though they only have Three Active skills.
You'd probably be better off with a 2* Thor since he can feed Storm green AP with his yellow, but if you don't have any covers there's not much to do.
