Thor progression reward

Can red Thor cover be already removed from progression rewards? It's the 5th event (Predator And Prey) in which I'm paticipating, with him. When I already have 5 red covers.

  • they arent going to change the progression reward just cause u have a max red thor already...but i agree with u, its been the 3rd or 4th event in a row where thor red has been the 700 progression reward...just think of it as a 250 iso reward i guess

They really could do with some more rotation with stuff like this. Why not at least change the color? I've received like 7 Red Thor covers in the last week between tokens and progression rewards. What am I supposed to do with all that especially when the ideal build for Thor is 3/5/5.

Its still **** they alternate the other rewards and its his worst skill so you probably only want 3.
  • Don't forget that we keep getting 1 Storm cover for our 2* reward brackets, regardless of how well you do.
  • The 700 rewards are almost always covers not many people need. Red cap was the popular choice before
  • I don't need any 2* characters (i guess a few green thors...) but they should mix it up with some other characters for newer players. Ares hasn't seen much exposure since his introduction.

They need to offer the same reward a lot in order for the complete newbies to build their characters. 3 red thor covers for a person who is just starting the 1->2* transition is a godsend, and is going to benefit them a lot more than 1 thor cover, 1 wolvie, and 1 hawkeye, for instance.

Well, sure, but if you want to give red Thor covers to new players, the 700 point reward tier in a tournament is almost the *worst* possible way to do it. New players won't ever *get* to 700, so those covers will only go to players who almost certainly don't need them.

    Yep, makes sense.

Personally, I just wish they'd switch up colors, though. I've been stuck at 2 yellow Thors since the 1970s.

EDIT: Oops, didn't realize that y'all were talking about the 700 progression reward. Yeah, newbies will never hit that (Ed. - that's what she said). I don't think I've ever hit that, and I'm mid-level (Ed. - and again).

I'm not against helping new players to get covers, but even if they're trying to do it, they should also at least change abilities. Isn't 2/2/1 Thor better then 5/0/0? Not to mention what Vairelome said, new players would kinda only get a token at 300, which would be even worse then your example with 3 characters.

Ah true, I think I've been taking my getting to 700 pretty easily for granted. Good point.

No. A 5/0/0 will have a really high soft cap.
  • I did 700 points on my free account with stock characters, none higher than 40. It's not hard, but more variety would be good. icon_e_wink.gif

It's not the same? 5 covers vs 5 covers? Does it matter how it's distributed?

In terms of the level cap, more covers in concentrated colors is better. I don't know why they chose to do it that way, but yeah.
