Casual player looking for help

Hey Everyone,

I have been playing for a while now (Day 796 to be specific) but i've never been much of a hardcore player. I havn't explored the forums in at least a year and I think I have missed a lot of very important information on scaling and roster input. I havn't tried to game the system up until now and have maxed or championed most of my three stars. I have a number of 4 and 5 star heroes that have a few covers but nothing aside from IW maxed. I have not and do not plan to spend much on the game moving forward aside from a few dollars here and there so whaling is out of the question. As such, I am not really confident in how to proceed further. Did I screw myself by maxing so many 3 stars? Should I not have claimed all the 5 star tokens? Should I continue to replace my 2 stars with 4/5 star heroes as I obtain them? 1050 hero points for one slot seems kind of ridiculous. How do people typically manage this? Below is my current roster. I would love to hear the communities thoughts on where I stand and what I should do next. Thanks for the help!

I think you are doing just fine. Especially from a scaling standpoint. You have a very broad group of champed 3*s. That will let you handle any scaling you run into. If I were in your shoes, I would do the following to free up a couple slots and improve your roster.

1. Replace your two 1*s with a single maxed out Juggernaut. He is the only 1* you need for the DDQ fight.
2. Level up and champion your 3* Iron Man. He is a huge help with 5 yellow covers. Plus he will give you hulkbuster covers.
3. If you need another space, I would drop 2* Bullseye.
4. Don't waste ISO on your 5*s. It isn't worth leveling them and tweaking your scaling for no benefit.
5. Look through the rest of your 3*s and see if any give 4* champion covers for characters you want to play.
6. Have fun!

Thanks for the response! that is really helpful. What do you recommend I do with the 4 stars? At what point should I begin to level them? Once one of the powers is at 5? two at 5? Should I wait until I have a number of 4's covered and ready to level before leveling any of them further?

Well, I think you will want to focus on the ones that give you a chance to win their 4* DDQ fight so you can get that LT. So the ones with more covers, I would at least try to get up to the 140-150 range. That is when you start to have a chance at winning unless it is an invisible fighter like Prof X or IW. Those can win at 70.

You're not a million miles off my world. I think I'm a little more casual than you as I've not got anywhere near the number of levels, but have the broad roster you have.

Today was day 840!

I only started championing this weekend, hadn't appreciated the pay-off as I'd avoided all the update info. Probably wasted a lot of covers in that time, oh well!

Now that I've worked out the Champ thing, I'm slowly working on that, need lots of ISO!

My query - I've Ghost Rider, Spider Gwen and the Punisher (Max) in my Roster queue - at 950HP for my next slot, I can probably squeeze a new slot for one. Maybe trash my one cover Hulk 4* spot for another.

Do I then cash for ISO one of the others? All these 4*s are just taking up space still and no ISO for them for a while!

I've also 6 Legendary Tokens that feel useless right now, don't want to cash for fear of getting another 4* I need to place!

Ghost Rider and Punisher are both pretty good 4*s. I would try to keep those if possible. I would definitely drop Chulk to free up a spot. While it is nice to keep as many 4*s for their essential nodes ( he is just sooo bad).

Another thing you might want to do is drop down to just 1 1* by getting a juggernaut to replace the two you have. He easily handles the daily DDQ fight.

I would definitely hold onto the LTs for now. They don't lose any value by not opening them.

You also probably don't need 8 2*s anymore.
