Taco Vault

I'm going to apologize in advance because this has probably been asked multiple times before (and I've looked through the forum but can't seem to find the answer) but: I have about 150 taco tokens stored up for both vaults. I've read before that there's a strategy to opening them and it has to do with cashing them in for the vault that it closed... or is it the other way around? Please help!

    So it doesn't matter which vault is open? Isn't there something about the rewards replenishing differently when the vault is open vs being closed?
