All those sigs are nice, Stan Lee is my personal favorite. Nice job in the tournament too. I'm glad that grind is over, i'm not a big fan of those long pve tournaments.

i managed to finish top 10 .. but i keep on wondering was all the work worth it .. for the lazy cap i will probably never level/use.. it feels so cheap u "need" the cover or u will not be able to compete in the next pve mission
Imagine i slacked on the thor tournaments and i finish cap hard mode nr 1 in my bracket... with a 1 cover thor ... so basically he was a meat shield and that's all he did.. i cant imagine how easy it was for someone with a lvl 141 thor.

We'll need any new covers because they will be mandatory for other matches. But yeah the long 9 day + missions are losing their luster. Especially for a character I have no intention on maxing. But good news is we got a ton of ISO. Now I just need to pick a new character to level.

I wholeheartedly agree. It's really tiring to go through those 9 days+ pve events just to secure those 1/1/1 covers for the next event.

In any case, it seems that some people has already spent HP on lazy cap. With 5 red, lazy cap does 551 damage at lv 15, returns 10 Red AP and can target any tile. I believe 551 damage at lv 15 will certainly scale up to quite a big amount at lv 141. Since his red technically only costs 1 red ap, he might be doing some ridiculous damage every few turns.

Still haven't gotten any alliance rewards. More than anything I'm looking forward to the new Xforce and Daken. I'm centering my roster around strike tiles that don't help out the enemy. (Looking at you patches!) and I'm really hoping the new xforce will be a patches without consequence. But once spidey is de-webbed strike tile offense and defense should reign supreme.

Wow that's more than I expected, depending on the scaling that's over 3k damage. Plus the protect tile on blue. He might be actually useful.

I don't know what to think of the gold daken....The 2* daken is already so irritating in pve events, especially when scaled up to lv 230. Going with the trend we currently have, with lazy thor and cap, the gold variants are stronger compared to their 2* counterparts, even if at same lvl, so I'm kinda scared to see what the already annoying daken is going to be.

Well done to everyone on our placement, the funny thing about the latest simulator that we only needed to place top 50 individually and as alliance to get all the covers, I ended up getting 1st in my main, mainly to help out the alliance, still, I was well short of the final progression reward, I think I had just over 180k.

I'm not too excited about 3* Cap, I'll still level him when he's buffed, especially for PVE, plus his character art looks good. I think 3* Daken will be crazy, that's the character I'm most interested in, my 2* team was Thorverine + Daken (I moved onto 3* by the time OBW got her 3rd power). Even with 2 powers Daken will be very annoying, if he gets a third active ability, he'll be awesome.

Congrats on 1st, you must have joined a very late bracket if 180k got you first in the main. Top in mine was around 270k.

Based on your score, I'm guessing you skipped the first subs events?

Yeah, try to join within the 1st sub event if you can, like you can do it super late so you still get an easier bracket.

Rubberbanding at the end of a sub is crazy and would have gotten you and the alliance an extra +50k points easy.

Not a big deal currently, but something to think if you want that extra 8k iso.

I wonder if anyone broke 300k, so much grinding for a daredevil cover hahaha.


Looking forward to Human Torch and using 3 star Daken. But, not looking forward to fighting 3 star Daken. If he gets a 3rd ability, he's going to be even more insane.

I think that was due to lack of sleep, the sub finished at 3 am in my time zone, so I worked until 1:30 and spent 1.5 hours to ensure I got first.

I hope Human Torch is not a 4*, I can't imagine the competition for his covers in PVP, people are already going to extraordinary lengths for the existing horrible 4*.

I haven't bought a single cover with HP, everything I have is from tournaments, LRs, and tokens.

I'm patient, I'll get the covers for the new heroes eventually, so I never pay 1250g for a cover. I rather use that gold on shields, roster and alliance slots.

I hope Human torch is a 3* as well, a 4* would take a while to fully cover and level.

I noticed Dr.doom is also considered as one of marvel cosmic beings, someone know why is that? Sorry but I'm not that well informed about the things that go on in the comics and such. While being on the topic, can I request a signature with dr.doom in it? I don't really have much exposure to the world of marvel so there's a limited number of characters I know, haha and doom just happens to be one of my favourite in umvc3 lol.
