You've got Mystique lited as a 2* cover. And have they given out multiple 3* covers in normal PvE progression before (not counting Gauntlet)?

oops. Thanks, corrected.

I have only seen it once before, and that was when 3 was accidentally awarded instead of 2 , and that was definitely a mistake.

Dunno if it's just a bad slice or if people suddenly have the hots for Elektra but I'm in 111th with 14003 after one clear of sub-2. Did not see this coming.

Yes I agree No matter which team I pick the two muscles plus Yelena are pretty much unbeatable. Wherever the countdown tiles for muscle appear they are unmatchable and add like 800+ strength to attacks. So my whole team is downed in about two moves!! Ridiculous!!

My only advice is to prioritize managing those countdowns and special tiles, and choose a team that maximizes your ability to do so over your highest level characters.. There are characters at various tiers that let you do that.

Yeah I'm in the same situation. Why is it so competitive for Elektra when this PvE is so awful because of muscle?

Yeah, I ran out of health packs trying to clear that this morning, so that essentially ended my chances at Top 200. Hopefully I can make up points later to still get the 25CP. I guess my alliance did too well in Civil War, because scaling is through the roof...

I think players may just be ISO farming like mad this week to take advantage of covers they got from Civil War (I know I am). Plus if you have a workable Jean Grey 4*, this event becomes much much easier, especially if you have a S. Witch feeding her purple. When boosted, a champ JG does 6900 (purple) or 6000 (green) AOE damage, and does it quickly. Those players are going to town on this event, I'd imagine. (again, I know I am )

And probably a bad slice too, as Mazerat mentioned. I think a lot of players who weren't in a strong alliance in Civil War, jumped in on this one early once the scaling just shut them out of that event. I've found success jumping in 3 hours after a slice starts for a new event, placing higher without anymore effort than I usually do (and still hitting progression). If your schedule allows, try that next PVE and see how it works for you (just for the first sub at the start of the event, treat the other subs as normal, jumping in as soon as you can).

Forget all the boosted characters and get OBW back on your team. Her blue is your only chance. I went from wiping constantly to hardly taking any damage.

OBW + IM40 + someone who can do damage in both red and green that's boosted will work wonders for all-goon nodes.

Match damage of 6K is insane. How are the muscles still unchanged. all it needs is a really short cd tile that cost almost no ap to spawn EEXXtremely powerful strike tile. Not only that, but in takes forever to kill them with their EEXXtremely high HP

I gotta say, I am really enjoying running the boosted pair of this event. With using up the red, if needed. Beast spams out specials pretty fast, and with Blade filling up the board with , enemies just start melting. My best damage so far has been 4K/turn after a cast of Blade's . Even Moonstone can't steal all that damage away.

And my is just usable enough at 3/0/1 that he can run with Beast & Blade too for his essential nodes.

Crazy slice I'm in, though. I've done about 3x/clears per sub and I'm not even T200. Oh well. The comes in handy as always. I've still got 10x 3* characters left to champ.

I've been using Ant Man's blue and Daredevil's purple to steal and eliminate the strike tiles from the Threaten CD's, then rounding out the team with 2* Wolvie. These matches have been quick and easy with those three.

Definitely going to try that on Simulator. 61k on TaT was only good for top-100

It's part of an A/B test where the cover art for some players shows Elodie Yung.
