It's already happening in Civil war, for the life of me why are some people playing on the opposite team.
    YOU ARE WASTING POINTS.
Rant over, I feel a bit better.

I play in a casual alliance we only just hit the 3 million mark last time. We dont have a hope in hell of completing one side let alone starting the opposite missions.

Don't forget that some people might be playing the opposite team side because they don't have a required character on the side you decided to focus on fighting. It's worth looking at the number of points, because if it's just a couple thousand, that's more likely the case.

I just checked he or she is spending more time over there than with us.

Going back to the original post, it sounds like a good idea but how would it work?
What does your alliance vs alliance look like?

I didn't mean to switch side after completing one side. Just at any point where we know we wouldn't beat that round. Our alliance beat round 7 and quickly realised that we wouldn't beat round 8. So, we decided after people were satisfied with their progression rewards, we would start playing the other side. By the time we did, we were already in round 4 on the other side. We got to round 6 that way.

Perhaps, it might be better for your alliance to beat round 5 and switch, just in case you fall short of getting 3 million this time, then.

I like your thinking however I think the alliance are traumatized after facing boss Iron man in the first run of civil war.

    House party protocol anyone?

I was thinking you have 20 PVP of all of their alliance as one round. Wouldn't take long to sort everyone out into position.

I agree that Civil War was an interesting test for an alliance. My alliance did not understand that if everyone focuses on one side, we all get to progression faster then we all focus on the other side.

This already happens every day. Your alliance needs to score more points than the alliance above you.
