Too far gone?

I started playing this game before reading any tips/forums/etc., and based on what I'm reading and how difficult the game has become, I'm worried that I am too far gone in the wrong direction to really catch up.

In the beginning I was using ALL of my HP and ISO on new covers, thinking better characters were the key to the game. As such, I'm most of the way through the Juggernaught prologue with just a level 9 IM35, level 7 Storm, level 6 Captain America and level 6 Thor. The events and SHEILD training are useless as I basically have NO CHANCE of winning against teams with average levels in the 20s and 30s, and while I could go through some original prologue missions, I've already cleared out a decent amount of rewards and it seems like a LONG way for me to still not be able to level up enough to really proceed. Is there any way out of this mess I've created?

Is my best option deleting the app and starting over? (p.s. I just tried this and my progress somehow still saved? How do I even start over?)

Thanks in advance...

Your roster doesn't seem too strong yet, so restarting the game might be your best option: you can probably get caught up to where you are now very quickly, and so you would be able to use your HP on more important things like roster slots. I think you can restart by simply deleting your app and the save data that goes with it.
  • Yea, I would delete and restart. You are still waaaay early in the game.

It's one of the hardest lessons to learn in this game. That 'getting lucky' and pulling a 2 star or 3 star character early in your game doesn't mean squat. In most games that would be a coveted pull ... but in MPQ it just means you need to do it 5-6 more times to actually have a viable character.

If you linked via Facebook, it's going to remember your saved game information.
  • If you do restart, dedicate your HP to roster slots -- it's the best use for it by a long way.
  • Thanks guys. Any advice on how to actually start over?

I'm playing on an iPhone 5, NOT synced to facebook, but I do have a PvP name. I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling multiple times, but each time I do my old game loads back up.

Anyone know how to delete all my saved data from my phone? Or what else I need to do?
  • Email mobilesupport@d3p.us and ask for how to reset your progress on iphone.

Read viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3939 Northern Polarity's guide for new players.
  • You can also just play PvP which should match up against reasonably beatable opponents. If all else fails, you can always fight the seed teams in LR for Isotope 8. It's hard for me to decide if you need to start over depending on what you mean by 'wasted HP'. If you spent like 1000 HP on upgrading covers instead buying new roster space then maybe, but looking at your team strength I really doubt you were able to get most of the HP rewards from the prologue at this point yet.

I'm with Phantron. If someone wasted every single HP available in the prologue on covers and boosts, it would definitely be worth starting over. But the OP is still in the Juggernaut chapter. How much HP can he have wasted? A few hundred? I just wasted 75 shielding for a tournament I don't really care about the prizes for.
