What's your best/worst moment of the game so far?

My best was last night. Laying in bed with the woman(real not blowup) and the only match I had left was against I think Level 180 Bullseye, Yelena and Moonstone if I'm correct. I had Punisher,OBW and Thor.
I went after Bullseye first to stop him spamming his purple but I failed and he fired off 6 protect tiles. But I finished him off just after Moonstone downed my punisher and Thor. Then I finished of Yelena. Which left me with OBW against Moonstone. This went on for nearly 10 minutes,blow after blow. My blows dealing precisely 1 point cause of the purples. I only had 4 health left while she had over 100. I match a blue in the middle of the board and get a lucky cascade that gave me an extra turn which finished her off. I punched the air/wife in delight.


My lowest was a couple days ago.i used the same team against level 64's Rag,Venom and Daken. I fired off my first shot, so did they. I matched my second, so did they.....with a cascade after cascade after cascade which resulted in special after special until my whole team of a combined 15,000 was downed after 2 goes. I CRIED.

I've had a couple of matches which ended with a single enemy under 100 health, and that one guy wiping out my two remaining chars (each with 800+ HP left) using an environmental tile-conversion ability that led to a multi-critical cascade.

On the flip side, the first time I realized that, with a newly viable OBW, I could intentionally prolong fights to maximize healing was a glorious moment.

That I keep playing a game that has tuned into a aggravating app that makes me want to throw my ipad on the floor.

All time high: The delight I experienced when I got my first Red Ragnarok cover. For new players, this is back when Ragnarok's Red ability was unquestionably the best offensive move in the game. It's since been nerfed. At the time I was so excited that I immediately purchased the HP to jump his red ability from 1 to 5.

All time low: Ragnarok Nerf. See above.

Oh, might as well add mine:

The best moment: Ending the PvE missions and destroying Ragnarok with a horrible low level team (IM, Storm, barely started Daken), thanks to the stockpile boosts giving me a lovely cascading Mistress of the Elements into Lightning Strike into Armored Assault right off the bat.

The worst moment(s): Whenever the game crashes unexpectedly and I lose my team, my boosts and a good 10 minutes of playtime. Has happened around 6-7 times over the last couple of weeks.

5000 HP. But I bought the ~10000 HP pack as well and used it an excuse to finish my SpiderMan as well. Haven't spent a dime since and won't until they give me a compelling reason to do so. Not seeing anything on the horizon yet.

All time high - haven't reached it yet. Still climbing. Every cover, every level earned bring me closer. The highest of the high? When I have all the characters. Maxed.
And since they keep on bringing out new characters...well, it's a fun goal.

All time low - blasting my way up the ladder in a pvp tournament, getting for the first time around 700 points, seeing that I was comfortably in the lead in my bracket for the first time EVER - and then Time Warner Cable decided I didn't need my internet for a few hours and shut me down mid-match. Obviously I wasn't shielded. Came back on and I was sitting around 180 points. I still haven't gotten even close to that point score again. Oh well.

Finishing a match in a tournament to see that I've hit 43, with three minutes to go. Watching that 43 slide to 45 with two minutes to go...and then to 46 with under a minute left.

Five minutes later, getting the top-45 reward set anyway!

I'm fond of the Punisher / Classic Magneto team; get out the strike tiles and spam a bunch of low cost attacks (also works with Patch). I was fighting a mirror match in a tournament recently. I saw that the AI magneto had enough purple to fire off the massive damage attack, Magnetic Translocation. My guys' health was all low, but Punished was at full. I thought, that will kill anyone but Punisher, so I made sure that he made the next match. It killed my Punisher from full health! I miscalculated that one. But I came back with magneto alone and won. I think I had 50 or so health left on the last round, when my last 2 red AP caused a mini cascade that got me 4 more red AP and I won. That was crazy. I almost retreated when Punisher went down.

The lows are always the same. Magic cascade leads to Aggressive Recon (the big flavor) leads to Thor yellow to Thor green, with enough purple left over to Aggressive recon me again the next turn. God I hate that.

High: Winning my first PvP event. It was the Dark Avengers only event shortly after IW was introduced. My Daken, Venom, Bullseye team was enough to win back then even though were some high level Rags and Moonstone teams. It was around that time I started winning a lot and got lucky with tokens to get several IW covers.

Low: Now. Not really enthused with the constant grind to place well which is required to place well in future events. Skip an event or two and you can fall behind quickly
