Liliana grave mist not always processing

I have ran into some times when I pop the gem to activate Liliana's grave mist spell and nothing will happen.
I wish I had more info and I've been trying to get a before/after screenshot but no luck so far. I am positive it's situations that have no other support or creature that will add any activation or that I've determined it to be a different gem. This last time the Fetid Imp was out but both times it was not one of his gems and it was not not granted reach/deathtouch.

To help with this it seems like its something that happens after many turns. It expires or is forgotten about or something like that.0

I have a screenshot of it happening now (or not happening as the case may be). Some background on the battle/board:
There has been lots of destruction of both gems and creatures on both sides, lots of mana generation. I think I have cast Raise Dead at least twice, Grave Mist at least once. Both players have Sword of the Animist out.
Supports on the board:
Green gem with 2 shield is green's Brawler's Plate
Green gem with 7 shield is green's Zendikar's Roil
Blue gem with 1 shield is my sword
Black gem with 4 shield is green's sword
Black gem with 3 shield is my Retreat to Hagra
No creatures or supports are on the board that have activate gems. When I touch the blue activate gem Liliana lights up.
The filled creature card in my hand is Drana's Emissary.
My turn:
I slide the blue activated gem one place right. (Grave mist should activate but does not) My sword is now gone and Bloodbond is now 4/4. Drana's Emissary is cast, Zula knocks Nissa down one HP to 24, I gain 1 HP but stay at 94 as that is max, Bloodbond is now 5/5 from my life gain. Attack phase causes 7 damage to Nissa, down to 17.
Nissa draws, matches, attacks, sword activates and smashes more gems. Harold attacks and kills 5/5 Bloodbond. Harold is now 8/3.
My upkeep: Emissary gives me 1 HP (still max), changes Nissa from 17 to 16.
I take second screenshot.
If grave mist processed then Nissa should be at 11, Harold would have been at 8/3 BEFORE attacking Bloodbond and would be dead now. Zula should be at 2/1.
I've been trying to narrow down the options to help troubleshoot this bug as it is not easy to reproduce and could easily be written off as I am a nutball. The Sword of the Animist is usually involved, BUT I THINK that is because it is often times on the board AND its the best way pop activated gems. It might be that it involves a support gem, for a long time I thought it might be sword hitting a support gem and the Grave Mist gem at the same time but I was able to disprove that, but it is possible that it's caused by the support getting destroyed at the same time. My best guess is still number of turns or board destruction causing the fact the gem is activated to be "lost" or "forgotten about"

I used to notice a similar effect with Jace's Mind Sculpt... and it was always after a number of turns had elapsed, I don't think I ever witnessed an activated Mind Sculpt gem not working properly if it was popped right away.
I used to use Sword of the Animist to pop Mind Sculpt gems, but I have never played Sword of the Animist in Liliana, and still I have noticed Grave Mist activated gems not working.0 -
I also have noticed the grave mist failing. Here is my observation:
If you attempt to use another skill of your champion, it causes the grave mist activated gems to no longer have the effect.
I have tried this when using "corrupt" and "raise dead" a turn after performing "Grave Mist" to suddenly find that the activated gems from "Grave Mist" not responding.0 -
This and Jayce bug is known to devs because they claimed it was fixed at one point though players have been reporting otherwise many times.
It's frustrating that they haven't done anything the last few patches to address it still.0 -
I'd just like to report that I'm still experiencing this bug in the game, with Liliana's Grave Mist ability today.0

If they know these triggers have no effect after X turns, they need to just tell us so we can plan around that. Or just put a timer on it like on countdown supports before they're useless.0

I guess it *could* be related to No More Moves (which is still showing odd behaviour... sometimes it will resprog supports 'behind' gems so they may not be clicked on to display, but will still count as actice on the board). I wasn't paying attention in that last game as to whether I got a No More Moves or not.0

Jace's Mind Sculpt gems *still* failing to work after a while, in 1.6.5
Jace is a bad enough planeswalker as it is without this long term bug dragging him down.0 -

This is still happening in 1.7
I was playing against the 'Quilled Wolf' opponent in the Avacyn's Madness Event, and I activated Grave Mist.
On the same turn I popped 2 of the Grave Mist gems, and they triggered, killing his creatures, and reducing his life from 33 to 23.
On the NEXT turn I popped a gem, and it had no effect. His life total stayed at 23 (He had no creatures in play).0 -

Happened to me, lost to a Carriage in an event game as a result. Thought this ability would deal with it, but nothing happened. It seems to work the turn it's created and doesn't work afterwards. At least in my case it was many turns later and after a "no more moves" board reshuffle.0 -
I'm seeing several activation bugs recently. Just commented in a separate thread about Disciple of the Ring activated gems not working.
I wonder if this has to do with not all listed effects being possible? For example, I triggered a Grave Mist jem but the opponent had no creatures, nothing happened.0 -

Also they had a creature in play in my case. Admittedly a hexproof one, but it's not affected by hexproof so that shouldn't even be a consideration.0 -
This is still not fixed. Any plans on actually fixing bugs?0
