Maxed my first 3*...where to now?

Current roster is here https://mpq.gamependium.com/rosters/BoaterChick/
I maxed Patch. Probably should've waited, but there's no turning back now. Sigh.
I've gotten rather lucky with some tokens and I have 4* Thor and X-23 waiting to roster. HP is at a premium and I can't really invest a lot of money. Is there anyone in the roster that I really don't need at this point? I'm using the champed Little Torch to get Big Torch covers.

At minimum, I'd stop putting ISO into 2* Wolverine -- he's surpassed by both Ares and 2* Thor, and since you're working on 2* Torch, I'd even say he's pretty expendable, especially since you have a champed Patch. And in that light, you might do well with only one of Ares and Thor (for the 2* nodes in DDQ), too, since Patch covers the same colors as both of them and has the advantage of self-healing.
2* Daken will be expendable later (I only just sold mine today, but he was champed and I needed both the HP and roster spot), but for now, he pairs well with Patch because of the Pheromone Rage synergy and the self-healing.
Otherwise, you've got a very lean roster (i.e. not a lot of obvious characters to sell), and although you're going to experience some hard decisions in the near-term, you look pretty well set up for the middle and long terms. But if you have to sell a 3* (not something I'd generally recommend), then Mohawk would be the likeliest candidate.0 -
ALL of my 2* characters are champed so there's no iso going into any of them. They are all well past level 100.0

I wouldn't recommend selling any of your 3* covers as they are your bread and butter and you'all gradually be able to cover them all through Deadpool's Daily. Likewise I wouldn't suggest you sell any 2* covers until you have them up to 144 and have made the most of what you've invested into them already (and probably not even then).
That leaves 4* covers, some the question to ask yourself is whether the ones you have queued are better than those rostered already. I'd say yes, and definitely sell Falcap, 2nd one to sell is a bit trickier but I personally consider Antman, Drax and Spider-Gwen to be in the same 'useful but niche' category.0 -
I'd recommend rostering both 4thor and x23. they are both 'tier 2' and I'd rather have them than falcap, gwen, or drax.
I agree that I'd keep the 3*s right now, but you really need to develop ways to deal with the opponent's strikes that patch puts out. loki is best, but other things work too: shulk blue, daredevil purple, antman blue, moonstone black, and later, jean purple. there is also doom purple that fills the purple tiles up with traps that limit patch from dropping the opponent strikes. patch is a little niche in use because he can kill your own team too. but when you have the right team, he can be devastating. many lower players finished the recent gauntlet with a patch/loki/obw team. obw is great with beefy strikes, but needs protection (enter loki to flip the strikes to friendly protects).0 -

You forgot using kk purple on purple with patch to turn most of them to green and limit the spots available to put out strike tiles.0 -

Doh! Total brain fart on my part.
As for mitigating Patch's enemy strike tiles, add both versions of Bullseye, XFDP, and to a more tenuous extent Scarlet Witch.0 -
Rostered X23 and 4Thor. Now I have Red Hulk, 4* punisher and 4* carnage waiting. Pretty sure I'm selling Carnage.0
