...if you want us to spend money on them. How are we, the consumer, supposed to know if it's a good value or not when you won't even tell us what the crystal price of these PW's is going to be?? I'm not going to blindly spend $50 on something you may release for 250 crystals. Please let us know ahead of time.

Up your communication game, and hell, you may find yourself making more money.

pro tip.

I agree. Too much math and speculation is being required for us consumers to make an informed decision. A little transparency could go a long ways towards rebuilding faith in this product. It's as easy as saying "$15.00 for a new planeswalker and additional perks to get a jump start on your competition. Otherwise, this Planeswalker will be released in 2 weeks to the general public for 250 crytals minis perks."

I'll go along with the petition, but I'd like to make a suggestion.

Instead of $15, $30, $50 or whatever for a cool new planeswalker and a bunch of random cards, how about charging $15, $30, $50 or whatever for a cool new planeswalker and 10 cards of the buyer's choice which they can put into that walker's deck?

That way, no matter what the crystal price later on (or any Nerfs dealt to the planeswalker), the buyer could be happy. They're not just buying Tezzeret. They're buying Tezzeret and Thopter Spy Network and Helm of the Gods or whatever their choice of cards is.

Seriously. The death of this game will be the inability of players to get the cards they want. Magic players are collectors.

I would've bought Ajani if the price was more reasonable like $20-25. $40 are a bit too much for a planeswalker. I can get Overwatch for $40... Maybe they see that people pay $50+ for paper Magic cards, but in paper Magic if I'm spending $100 for Jace (that's really his price O.o) I am doing it because I am building a deck to go to tournaments with and I can win real money there. And even in paper Magic $50+ price is rare. Most planeswalker cards are ~$15-20. Not a chance I will pay $40 for a planeswalker in MtGPQ.

Plus, you can resell that Jace when you need. In this game, there's no trading so no value in the cards.

In paper Magic, Ajani Vengeant is playable in Modern and even Legacy, so it has value ($11.73 in paper, $16 in Magic Online).

However, you can sell a paper copy to a dealer's buy list for $7, and you can sell an online card to a bot for $14.

This means you're really only risking $4.73 in paper and $2 online.

You could also probably trade it straight up for full value to another player. Paper Magic cards are a fungible asset, which is one reason they have value.

BTW, Kiora, Master of the Depths is $3.25 in paper and $1.56 online. The online buy list price is $1.30, so you're only risking 26 cents by owning one.

Well, obviously, they can't have prices like paper. Planeswalkers are normal cards in paper, but in PQ they tell you what kind of deck you're building. And of course, the devs need some way of earning money. The issue is that the prices are absurd...
