Argon Flame Posts: 98 Match Maker
edited May 2016 in MPQ General Discussion
During my formative Diablo2 years I used to venture into the forums on occasion.
There was a tracker that would automatically compile all the threads that Blizzard Reps would comment on - Blizzard Blues I believe it was called.

Is there an equivalent here on the MPQ boards?
I has been a week or so since I've seen any red posts come up within threads.

No, because that would make it too easy to see just how infrequently they actually comment on threads.

Sad how IceIX has posted significantly more than all the others combined despite of being gone now for a full 1/5th of MPQ's life. His leaving represented an insurmountable loss for both us and D3/Demiurge and it seems that will never be replaced.

Did IceIX mention where he planned to go after leaving? I wonder if he's "hinting it up" in another developer's forums, or if he got out of the game business altogether for a while (or for good.)

Yeah, say what you like about him, he was always around to communicate with the forums, let us know what was going on. He was a pretty good liason between the forums and the devs.

It never did feel like they ever replaced him.

Because I was curious I though i would check to see changes over the last 10-days. Note there are some posts in the MtG forum, not Marvel.

Just want to make sure I understand this correctly, was Cthulhu meant to be Ice's replacement?

Ostensibly yes. He was hired and given the same job title as Ice...or course Ice was largely doing work that was beyond the scope of his job title. In fact he was more of a community manager than the actual community manager Hi-Fi.
