I don't want OML

...There. I said it. No funny business either.

I have opened my fair share of LTs from tokens and CP so far, and I still don't have OML. I don't want him at this rate, either, based on what other people on the forum say about him.

1. He's a glorified damage sponge that adds damage potential and not much else unless he transforms. As nice as that would be, having my team essentially dictated to be OML + x + y doesn't sound fun.
2. To point 1, I already am limited in what characters I can field based on the scaling I see unless it's a test event. I don't want to feel like I absolutely have to field only one or two characters such that OML is always there. 4Thor and IM40 are already filling that role, and it gets boring after awhile.
3. Scaling already gets hideous as it is for boosted 3*s and 4*s.
4. My PVP MMR is already broken, and skip jail is real even at the 3-4* transition level. Breaking it further sounds... not fun.

Anyway, now that it's out there, feel free to discuss icon_e_smile.gif

Anyone else out there in the same shoes? No OML on the roster, no real desire to add him?

You can send him to me if you pull him. I've got 2 5* covers so far (which is absolute ****) so I'll take them any way I can get them at this point.

well, apparently I can be seen by scores of players with mid-300s OML and even some with champed 5*s. if they can see me, I don't think my experience will change much with one. i think the key is not leveling that second 5*. one to the mid-300s doesn't screw much up in pvp (i don't think). in pve, it does give an additional guy in the mid-300s on top of any 4* you have boosted, but I've had 2 each in the last pve and this one and i seem to be handling it. adding a meat shield couldn't hurt anything at this point.

I've got a 1/2/2 OML at 270, deliberately keeping him on par with my four 4* champs right now... but yeah, I feel you on this. The 4* stage is going to tie me up for a while due to ISO demands but I'm in no rush to move to five stars if its a one character game that you have to plan around. Right now he's just another option to go with when needed when I'm out of top 4 * combos.

That said, I have been having a lot of fun pairing OML with Vision in the trivial nodes of PVE.

I just started leveling my OML as I feel fairly done with fourstars for the moment. I enjoy playing him so far, and getting him to 330 doesn't seem to have messed up my scaling or matchmaking.
I think he has the same niche as Daken more or less - spit out strike tiles and heal. I like playing Daken though...

My experience was greatly improved when I had an OML with all three colors at Level 315. And he does pair well with Daken!

Now I have him at 405, and he's even better. I expect he'll probably be there for a long time....

He's an absolute beast, but yes, after you get him to level 350+ you do pretty much have to use him in every fight.
