How high dare I go with OML?

I have decided it is time to start leveling my OML. I have eighteen championed fourstars, and the ones I have left are either missing covers or just lackluster. The Champions are approaching level 290 at a slow but steady pace. OML is currently 2/5/1, so his strike tiles are still fairly weak but he heads like nobody's business.
What I am wondering is how high I should level OML while still keeping my scaling in check. I am a little sad my threestars aren't really viable any more, so I'd rather not put myself in a position where I have to rely on OML all the time. I was thinking level 300 is probably safe, but I am unsure if I dare go to 350 for added deterence in PvP...
I should mention that the only other fivestar that's close to being viable is Phoenix, but at 5/1/5 she probably needs more purple covers to be viable.
Anyway, comments and suggestions are welcome.

I took mine to 330 which is his current max and I haven't really seen a huge difference. When boosted your 4*s will still be higher level. So take that for what it is worth.0

I decided to go up to 330 and so far so good. I was considering continuing to 350, but I saw someone mention that at that Point you'll need to use OML in pretty much any fight, so I Think 330 is good enough for now. Eventually I may start working on Phoenix and bring them up together.0

I've heard that once your second 5* passes 300 some, you get grouped as a "5* player", which is different, in-game, than "has a 5* character leveled". that is when you hit mmr hell and only are able to queue other 5* teams. my long-term plan is to level OML to 330-345 range and keep all others no higher than the top of my 4*s, which now is 285-ish. I'd rather hear from others that know this first-hand though.0

My experience leveling OML was something like this :
330 : Probably where I was most comfortable. I could queue 3* teams still and just demolish them. Sure I got hit by bigger OML, but it wasn't that bad.
345 : A little tougher. Not so many 3* teams but more maxed/boosted 4* teams. Should have stayed at 330...
375 : No more 3* teams, but 4* teams are pretty easy. Getting hit by level 400+ OML is relatively frequent, but no big deal. In PVE I kind of have to use him because scaling is high. It goes so fast though and no health packs.
405 : 4* teams are easy and a lot less hits are coming in. All I see are maxed 4*s and 5*s, but I can crush level 360 5* easily. I tend to avoid higher level ones since I'd rather queue 4*s
I only have 4 maxed 4*s but since scaling and MMR is based on top 3 chars, that shouldn't change much.
Hope this helped!0 -

You and I have very similar rosters. My OML also has 10 covers, except mine is 5/3/2. I have 3 champed 4*s and a pair at 210. This has convinced me into bumping OML up another 30 levels. Thanks for sharing your experience!0 -
I was going to create a topic or my own, but I have the exact same question.
I just got my first red cover for OML last night. This only puts him at 5 covers, but with three powers he might be worth using to save me some health packs in PvE. I'm reticent to put any Iso into him for fear that it will throw my scaling out of whack - my highest characters between underleveled 4* and championed 3* are around lv 180. Should I continue to sit on him, or is 2/2/1 worth the scaling impact?0 -
Max him. With champion 3*s, the scaling impact will be negligible, and easily overcome by, you know, having a level 330 OML.0
