Daken's pink and black

Was using 3* Daken just now. I noticed that the "Healing and Heat" with the black banner" no longer flashes whenever he heals or loses health; you have to look at his health bar to see changes. Meanwhile, the "Pheremone Rage" with the pink banner still flashes as per normal when a green match is made.
Intended? I know about how all other passive abilities have had their names flash across whenever they are activated
