Someone will probably add this to the excel chart. Thanks for the data.
  • How often does the spreadsheet 'restart' every time they add a new character the odds will have naturally changed so the odds of a certain pull today might be very different than a few months ago
  • I'm pretty sure the only odds that really matter are between the level of rarity. Once that is determined it is an equal chance between all covers of that rarity level that are currently available.

I did something similar but I wasn't as thorough as you and didn't write them down. I can tell you that in 68 standard tokens and 5 heroic tokens I got ZERO 3 star covers. From the 68 standard I did get 3 of those 25 HP packs. If before they added those in they would have been 3* covers I would have been pretty happy with the result otherwise I was kind of disappointed.
  • The idea behind data gathering is to remove phrases like 'pretty sure' from conversations like this. Yes an aggregate data set from the beginning of the game will have a more robust number of data points and may show how the * percentages pan out, but if we were able to look at only the pulls from one character release to the next we can look at it and see if they are indeed even.

Also with the addition of HP pulls it is essentially a new rarity and using data from before that change will skew our results and assumptions
  • To remove "pretty sure" from the conversation you would need to collect more data than is reasonable in the time before a new character is added or something is changed. Or you can just take the word of the developer who has stated that after rarity is determined all covers of that level have an equal chance of being drawn
  • My point about HP pulls remains, if we want to get close to knowing the actual percentage, all data collected before this was patched in is a bias

It has a column listed "since 2/28" which I assume was the date HP was introduced as a reward. It seems to be about 2% which has come from a reduction in the chance of pulling a 2* cover.
  • Right you are I'll be quiet now icon_e_wink.gif
