    Tried 4 times without success.

    Update: at Sim 27. Level 482 red hulk lazy Thor and cyke. Optic blast and that green red hulk power is just crazy .

    The pattern becomes pretty clear as of Sim node 12. Levels just ease up approximately 3 at a time since then.

    Just so it's clear this gauntlet's scaling goes well beyond what my roster can handle. Many of my wins come from lucky boards and using 1 if not 2 MBW TU stuns to survive. Characters like 1* Storm or Mohawk consistently defeat my team with a single casting of her black because it deals around 8000-9000 a turn before match damage or other skills. I haven't even tried any of the branching nodes yet because of the resources and difficulty required just to win with my best team of 3 (SW/OML/Phoenix).

    Man your post is scaring me A LOT, and it is basically the reason why I still have not leveled my SS and my Phoenix. So, you are lucky an get some 5s, but if you put iso into them you are SERIOUSLY PENALIZED in PvE !!!! You can just chose between 3 5s (buyer's maybe they can chose between 5), they don't have that much synergy together, but your enemies scale even more than you!!! What is the advantage of leveling your 5s ?!?!?!? NONE AT ALL! And of course you can't use 4s or 3s because they get insta-killed!!!

    They NEED to fix this, this is outrageous!!! And unitl they fix this I will just continue leveling OML for PvP and that's it. Or just stop playing because this is so stupid that it hurts, they still think that even after you get to the endgame, your life should be even harder than before so you keep buying more health packs, more new chars, etc.


    PS: And if we look at the posts of DuckyV and EstherC in this page the same ****, basically 5 rosters can't get past the second sub without super luck (!!!!!!!!). Is there any other game in the world were the best teams have the toughest time? Absurd.

    I am at sim 37 and my opponents are now 395 (villains. Goons are already past 400). I don't have OML at 400, nor any 4*s boosted above 270 for this event. My best character is IMHB at 280. Interesting that having 2 characters above level 300 has such a drastic impact on your scaling (Node 26 is currently 362 for me AFTER finishing all the main line nodes in the second sub; it was probably about 340 or 350 when I beat it the first time). You reached level 400 villains about 11 nodes earlier than me.

    Edit: just finished node 42. It was level 413. Again, my max level for this event is 280!). The essential nodes seem to be 395.

    Against my better judgement, I partook in this debacle d3 calls the gauntlet... If for nothing else, than to give aesthetocyst some more data points... I made it to sim27 before my first wipeout, which was impressive (to me at least), and had used my last health pack to enter the match... I'm officially done, but it looks like I'm following the trend of +3 level increase every node...

    Seems like the problem might be that the champion implementation changes the leveling curve for characters. Match damage and health now scales linearly through max level, but they exponentially through max champion level. This is true for players and ai characters.

    So when your roster is level 120 3*s and your ai opponents are level 170, it's manageable as both sides are still at or near the linear match damage zone. But when you have level 170 3*s and the ai gets level 250 3*s, things are messed up because the later gets linear match damage and the ai gets exponentially higher match damage.

    This whole problem could be a fellow traveller of the 3* boost nerf, and is certainly related to the problems of fixing scaling to match the 5* meta.
