Once heroes cross the 100 threshold it starts to feel like you are slowly pushing their health up a large slow hill. I really don't see a big difference between say a 121 and a 141 punisher apart from the 50k ISO.

The question of who to level is really a question of what do you think your opponents are thinking.

In the end there's actually very little difference between a max covered level 100 character versus a max covered level 141 characters once you run into Spiderman, so the levels alone are not necessarily a strong deterrent. You've to try to guess what the rest of your opponents are thinking, and obviously no one can tell you what that is for sure. Having a high level Hulk seems like a pretty safe assumption, but keep in mind it's not because a level 141 Hulk can actually do anything to stop the Patch buzzsaw kill. When you get stunlock Berserker Rage going, the difference between a level 141 and a level 100 Hulk is likely 2 turns and that's not going to stop anyone.

till they nerf 2 ap stun, outside of that you'd have to live on retaliation with low health pool classic storm to burn down hulk.
Hulks a pretty good scarecrow once the promised nerfs are applied. Same diff if you went venom route. Prob the only way to reliably do anything about it is rage till retribution, which you also can run so it's not so scary to you.

Hulk/ Punisher is my "A" team. But it only works if Hulk tanks red and green. Otherwise Hulk doesn't belong on the team at all. As a side note, those look to be two characters that will not be funbalanced any time in the future, so you should feel confident in spending ISO on them.

Interesting post but I can't imagine them wanting to give away that quantity of stuff. Defeats the purpose of their recent cutbacks as the top players continually getting the top stuff all the time, particularly HP, which they were trying to curtail.

Kind of disagree with you on the topic that the top players are getting top prizes. When I was using two star characters I was winning top 5 (if not top 2) in most events I attended to. Now I have a difficult time getting top 100 in most events. I usually see people with mid level two stars placing in the top 50/10. I have not received any of the new three star characters, aside from a panther pull from a token, but I have seen many rosters with a few two stars mid leveled and then a nearly maxed out panther, psylock, and daredevil (cover wise). That's why I'm just planning on sticking with what I got instead of spreading the ISO around to newer covers.

Yeah that's the direction I'm headed. His green and red are not as good as most others. Thanks!
