Hibernum: questions about bfz packs

Hi Hibernum

The announcement of cards added to BFZ pool has created quite a bit of an uproar.

There is already a topic about it so there is no point to discuss that here.

Here I just want to ask a couple questions related to this subject.

- can you tell us which cards are not included in the pool right now? Or at least how many?

- if we get bfz packs/boxes but do not open it until cards are added to the pool, will we be able to get "new" cards also?

- will the bfz card pool be extended over the card pool showed in inventory(I mean cards not from future expansions )? If this is true is your reply for previous point valid for these cards too?

Hope we get a reply so we can at least manage our resources accordingly.

If you go to the vault and click on the ! on the Battle for Zendikar Card set, it will bring up a list of "lootable" cards. 221 cards available as of the time of this post.

In the inventory, selecting only Battle for Zendikar in the filter yields 238 total cards.

A gatherer search of non-basic non-planeswalker cards yields a result of 246 potential cards to be made.

So out of 246 potential cards 12 are not implemented, currently, and 17 are not lootable.

I will leave it to more diligent parties to compile a list.

Speculation station: I imagine so, but the devs would need to definitively weigh in on this one.

I was looking for official reply but thanks majincob.

i did not think about checking the "I" near packs in vault to check and compare the cards shown there with the ones in inventory.
The list already includes the new cards released(checked 3 of them, I presume then all of them are listed)
So 238-221 = 17 cards missing at the moment.... I feared much more were missing....

Still hoping for official reply about keeping packs to open later since even if only a few are still missing, it looks like they kept out only mythics and rares, so probably many good cards are there among them.

Icomparedmy inventory against the list of what is available in the packs. From what I can tell these are the 16 cards that you cannot get yet in BFZ. if you had your heart set on one of these, give up for now.

By our calculation 17 cards are missing.
Did you buy Ulamog card?
You know it would make much sense that the cards they are proposing for sale are the ones they will make available later on.

Thanks, I did buy Umalog.

I like to grind and I am always looking to fill in the gaps in my decks from earned or bought packs. But I will not be buying any more singleton cards. PW's are a different story.

i find it tragicomic that a lot of Rare and mythics were the ones that were not released together with the hype of getting new cards
I feel like i wasted a ton of crystals in fat packs and big box right at the start, almost felt robbed

Well we were robbed and misled. The question is- how are they going to respond to this?

A free pack would be a nice touch. Hell, any acknowledgement would be amazing. Hearing this devs? You need to up your communication game. We have been through a lot with this game. If this wasn't the Magic franchise I would definitely have not put up with all the bugs. No chance. It's time to reward your player base, not punish them with ridiculous $$$ prices and deception.
