Here we go again with Tezzeret

Less that one percent of the player base is about to be rewarded where as the other 99 will waste hours for nothing. Way to go devs.

    I have mixed feelings about it.
    I still am mad at not getting Garruck last time but at the same time this is more interesting skill wise.
    Would have preferred a white pwalker based on supports(that is the best color for it right now) but since I have thopter spy network I can build a valid blue support deck too.

    What to do, what to do...

    Yup. I considered making this a weekend when I sink a bunch of time into this tournament, then I realised how dedicated a small minority of players are, and how wasted all those hours would be, and thought better of it.

    Especially since most of the time if l start a game in one location and finish it somewhere else, the game "can't contact the network server" and I don't get the points for that match. What's the point in a mobile game if you can't play it while mobile?

    Can we assume all these planeswalkers will be available for crystal purchase later? Btw devs, were still waiting for ob and Gideon Z to hit shelves

    I'm not sure these PW's are even worth grinding for honestly. Doesn't the top 10 rank usually get 150 crystals for the QB's that finish on Mondays? So if the PW's are actually ever released for crystals, and the crystal cost is less than 150 (which it better damn well be! Otherwise /uninstall), then it wouldn't it just be better to not play in these QB's basically? That's my excuse for not participating at least icon_razz.gif

    I was wandering this myself but you never know how much they will charge for it.
    If they are so crazy to ask 50 bucks for it they could even go for THOUSANDS crystals as a price.
    We will see soon with first ones released(should be 15 current month).

    So I decided to grind. I played almost every second I could. I did pause for the Civil War movie, and I did work Sunday and Monday. I placed second 6 points behind the 1st place guy(didn't pass out of respect for him having such a huge lead the whole tourney), and recieved Tezzeret. I would say I played for about 35/72 hours that the tournamemt was active. I'm glad it's over and will never do that again that's for sure. I leveled up my Jace 8 levels to 60, and 75k planeswalker points only got Tezzy to 59. http://imgur.com/ZUohoLf

    35 hours... gawd. I really wish there was like a threshold that if people reached it, they'd get Tezzeret(or whichever PW is up for grabs). 1000 points or something? After that, the reward goes up giving a booster, fat pack etc of the color for him in addition.

    It's crazy to have to dedicate this much time to get something.

    I agree with you. I wish I didn't have to resort to that extreme.

    I grinder too and to be honest I regret it.
    Only now I realize how many vital key cards are needed for a support deck to actually work consistently.
    My white support has almost anything and can work fine.

    Tezzeret instead...
    I have thopter spy network then... What else? If I do not use it in the very beginning I have to rely on removal or clausteophobia(that is completely dependent on random location chosen).

    He has not deal 6 damage support.
    He has not vigilance + murder investigation combo.
    Suppression bonds is even cheaper than claustrophobia for the exact same effect.

    Only thing blue has better to offer is fetch/draw mechanics to get the spy thopter out earlier.
    I really wish tezzeret was white.

    As I mentioned in my sticky post, if you didn't win Tezzeret this weekend, he will be available in the vault. We wanted to give players an exclusive reward for finishing first, but we really don't want to make them unavailable ever to the rest of the playerbase.

    Ob Nixilis and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar will be released this Friday for 250 Crystals.

    As for the other ones, I don't have the exact schedule with me, but it's soon.

    Dang the original walkers were available for mana runes icon_e_sad.gif. It will take the free players 2 months of daily rewards to get one walker. I had liked using my crystals to get packs since the 3 card pack was reduced to 8 hours instead of runes. Oh well, something to work towards. If only you could get more than 200 crystals for 9.99. I should have bought the bundles, that would have been cheaper!!!

    Huh? At realease original walkers were only for crystals. 10 per walker if i am not mistaken.
