How high do I go leveling?

I have a 3/5/5 punisher @ 120. I have hood 5/5/3, patch 3/5/5 hulk 4/1/4 all of which are around lvl 50. Do I max punisher first to 141 or should I get the other guys up to 100 at least?

Man, I think this is more a matter of playing styles and opinions rather than fact. My style is to run my A team up to 85 (which includes 4 characters that I alternate) and then push them all up to 100 and then push them to the top. I know a lot of people run to 100-110 with one, then the next. It just doesn't make sense to have one toon so far out of balance with the rest of the team to me and I *think* char level determines opponents in PVP to some degree. I have two 3* at 85 now and pushing Hulk up (though I'd prefer Punisher but I don't have the covers for him yet) and I rarely see opponents over 85.0

My punisher is my highest at lvl 120. Ragnarok is 115. I have 5 others between 100-110. I currently have patch at 72 and the ISO to bring him to the 100-110 range seems like it would be better spent than to take punisher to like 130.
I'm currently getting all 3* I wanna use to 100-110.
Then there's a few 2* I like I wanna get to the 75ish range.
Then I'll see how things look after that.0 -
I'm doing what everyone else here has mentioned, which is kind of leveling multiple toons at one time instead of letting one get too far ahead.
My highest is Patch at 123, Hulk at 101, and I just ran Punisher up to 100 from high 80s (finally 3 lvl 100+ heroes!) during this Hulk event.
I use Patch the most by far, so I am going to alternate leveling him now and bringing my Spidey up to speed....he's only level 65 atm, but he has 12/13 covers, so I can get him up to above 100. I will probably level Spidey 5 for every Patch 1 for the time being.0 -
I think getting the core team to 115 would be the goal, after that it starts getting prohibitively expensive. After that pick and choose. My max Punisher is still at 115, do not really feel like bringing him up more right now.0

I've found that with my characters at level 69, unless I get unlucky I can beat almost any PvP or PvE team on offense, even most level 230 teams, and it lets Daken and some of my under-covered 3-stars tank reliably, so I'm letting them sit at 69 as I build a more robust roster0

I'm doing a strategy I suspect is highly weird - I level all my 3 stars up as high as they can go up to level 75, which is where I have my 4 highest 2*s (Ares, Wolverine, OBW, Thor) - right now, the 3*s up there with them are Punisher, Patch, Hulk, Doom, Rags, and Daredevil. Patch and Doom are maxed; the rest top out from 77-92, except for Punisher, who can get up to (I think) 115. Right now, I"m trying to decide what to do next - Black Panther is almost to his max at 53 (I think he's 49th), and I was thinking about taking my "JV" team of 2*s (Storm, MN Magneto, Captain America, Modern Hawkeye) up a bit more, since they tend to get buffed a lot. After that, I'll probably start the slow process of leveling up all ten of my 75th level guys up one level at a time, unless it starts screwing up my PVE scaling, with frequent stops to level up an 3* I get a new cover for.
I haven't been slammed too bad by PVE scaling so far, and I'm bending over backwards to try and keep it from hitting.0 -
I would level up your characters to suit your playstyle.
I have a max Patch anchoring most of my teams, so I left a fully covered Spidey sitting at 100 so Patch can still tank yellow.
I maxed Hulk so if Patch needs a breather, I can move Hulk to center position for a battle and let Patch repair himself.
When you have a character at L70 or so that is buffed for a tourney, you can get a sneak preview of what he or she would be like at max level. See if it's worth the iso investment to you.0 -

Same here. I pushed my team to 85 > 100 > 115 > 125 > 130. I have about 6 of them lingering around 130. Now that I have BP there, I'm starting on the 141 push with Mags.0 -
3* increase in power so much from 100-141 that it feels like a totally different character by the time you hit max.
If you can take a strong 3* to max like Punisher, do it. You will win more battles, Punisher at max level makes the PVE battles so much easier. I use him often as the sole damage dealer when I run Spidey. Really tough fights get a lot easier if you can sub in a Hood with a Spidey, gives you a lot of leeway.
MMR has nothing to do with your character level, its win/loss.0 -
Copy pasted from my guide:
Spreading out your iso on buffed characters would help you in whatever events they're buffed in more than say using that iso to level up your 3* slightly, allowing you to earn more awards in that event and improve your roster that way. However, once the event is over, the buffed character's usefulness decreases significantly. The main reason why I prefer focusing on 1-2 3* characters is that most events in this game have a single featured character, and 2 other characters that you can pick. Leveling 2 3* characters to max level would make it so that you always have 2 powerful characters on your team to carry that featured character. If you choose these 2 characters wisely, they'll probably be used in every single event you play for the following months to come. I personally leveled my Punisher to 141 due to his versatility, and have used him in every single event for the past 2 months.
I don't think it makes sense to stop leveling a 3* at level 100 or below. A level 100 3* character is equivalent in stats (tile damage) to a level 85 2* character, so at that point your 3* character is no better than your Thor or OBW (barring some OP abilities like spidey/mags). While the increased diversity is nice, I think the raw power increase matters a lot more.0
