Any reason not to do main bracket?

I noticed that unlike the other PVE events you are able to repeat the nodes on the main bracket of the hulk. Is there any reason not to do them? They are worth a hefty amount of points, but I am concerned about them affecting the rubberbanding or scaling of the sub-brackets in some way.

They don't, and are good for boosting your main bracket points. Be sure to do those missions before subevent missions to maximize your rubberbanding.
  • No, there's no reason to avoid them. Rubberbanding is specific to each sub, and I assume the main missions are tied to your main event score, so I guess you'd want to do them before the sub missions if you want to maximize rubberbanding.

  • Laziness or prioritizing subs if limited time is a factor.
  • I tried completing main bracket missions while periodically checking point values in the subs. I added more than 2000 points onto my main score with no impact on sub node values.
  • The only downside is that grinding those nodes might affect your overall scaling, but I have no idea what the current algorithms are. The point rewards are sufficiently big that it's probably worth it anyway.
