Well, with 12 hours to go in slice 1 and while relaxing in a lovely hot bath I started to climb from 250 or so, and my trusty 4* Deadpool and IM40 (plus loaner when I remembered to swap it for my 0/0/1 sad sack) got all the way to 1000 with no attacks.

I shielded, started a clear of Hulk, and after a few nodes I got the notification of 3 losses, luckily after my shield went up. Good timing, I guess.

Drax sucks. Maybe he's less sucky when covered and levelled, but these 4* events do nothing to showcase the potential of the new 4*.

All the new 4*'s are terrible events. Either you have great 5*'s and cake-walk to 1300 (like every event), or you have the "right" boosted 4*'s and you cake-walk to 1000 and shield-hop to 1300 (like every event), or you have a heck of a time trying to get to the 1K reward.

I get it - these were originally put in to reward your whales for buying the 4* covers right away. Do whales still whale the 4*'s? With 33 of them out there, do they care that much? The 4* events - with 3*'s rewarded as alliance covers -STILL SOMEHOW- are just stupid.

Oh, and I've used Drax's abilities once I think? Like all 4*'s, I'll have no idea what those abilities are until I have him covered....so maybe in a year and a half with how diluted the 4* pool is?
