Give a grace period before retreating on game crash

So MPQ has started crashing on me with ridiculous frequency, usually within 2-3 minutes of opening the program. No real explanation, just "Marvel Puzzle Quest has stopped working."

This would not annoy me *nearly* so much if it wasn't costing my characters about a quarter of their health every damn time it happens. What should be an hour of grinding turns into five minutes of frustration before I can no longer play.

I get it, you can't make it free or people would just shut down their programs rather than lose a match. But why on earth isn't there a five minute or so grace period to re-login and pick up the match where we left off?

  • The match is saved locally, so I doubt there would be data to restart the match where you left off. PC it would be harder to actually tell a true crash from a faked one. In this case, while I am all for the app having some compensation for this, I don't see how it would work for the PC crowd.

    Steam version is pretty stable.

That is, I assume, the version he has. The error he's quoting is a Windows error. When it crashes on a mobile, it just goes away. I mean, it could be a Surface that he's referring to, as I've never used them and therefore don't know if they have the same stock Windows errors.
